Chairman of a City Forced Labor Committee Quit the CCP
(Clearwisdom.net) The story started with three Falun Gong practitioners in my area being arrested and incarcerated in a local detention center for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong. About three weeks later, their cases were reported to the city forced labor committee. After I found out some background information about the chairman of the city forced labor committee, I started to send forth righteous thoughts. Next I paid a visit to his office in a building shared by the Public Security Bureau. The chairman seemed friendly. When he inquired as to the nature of my visit, I explained how the health of the three detained practitioners had improved because of their practice of Falun Gong. I also shared with him what a wonderful cultivation practice Falun Gong is. He approved of what I said and promised to do his very best to help my fellow practitioners, but he would have to read up on their cases first.
Two days later, he reduced the sentences of two practitioners to a year and released the third one. For the sake of saving his future, I prepared four CDs and two booklets containing important facts about Falun Gong, as well as a painting with a poem on it, also containing facts about Falun Gong. With Teacher's help, I paid him another visit while sending forth righteous thoughts. I spent more than an hour sharing with him the magnificence of Falun Gong, which he was very receptive to.
In less than five minutes, the chairman began to yawn. (From my observations, many people tend to yawn when I start to clarify the facts about Falun Gong to them.) I said to him, "It is my Teacher that has sent me to save you today. Feel free to yawn to cleanse your body." He turned red and nodded repeatedly. "OK! OK!" he said. During the conversation that lasted more than an hour, the chairman yawned repeatedly, but he confessed excitedly, "I have two Falun Gong books at home, although I don't fully understand them yet." He added that he happened to see New Tang Dynasty Television programs in a hotel when he traveled to southeast Asia. He had also read the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. However, in a work meeting before the trip, he and his colleagues had been specifically instructed not to accept any material offered by Falun Gong practitioners during the trip. As a result, no one dared to accept any Falun Gong materials being handed out in southeast Asia. He added that he would have released all three practitioners if it had not been for the intervention of the 610 Office.
He announced that he would continue to try to help the practitioners that had been sentenced to serve time in the city forced labor camp. He also asked me to inform him when they would be sent to the forced labor camps so that he could make contact with the camps and tell the camp officials to refuse to admit them. (Indeed, one of the practitioners was not admitted by the camp.) I was very happy for him to see that he had understood and accepted the truth about Falun Gong. Next I presented him the CDs and other materials I had brought with me. He accepted them with both hands and put them away in a cabinet. "I shall watch and read them when I get them home!" Finally, he gladly agreed to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its two affiliated student organizations he was once a member of and agreed to publish his renunciation statement using a pseudonym, Fu Yuan, which means "a predestined relationship of good fortune" in Mandarin.
During my continuous efforts to persuade people to quit the CCP and its student organizations, I have observed that mid- to high-level government officials tend to agree to quit the CCP more quickly than entry-level government employees that have a direct hand in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. So far, I have persuaded more than 60 government employees at the department or division management level to quit the CCP and/or its two affiliated organizations, including the head of a courthouse, the head of a public security bureau, a division head of the prosecutor's office, and many management-level government officials. I encourage fellow practitioners to purge any notion you might carry and approach government officials directly for truth-clarification.
