(Clearwisdom.net) On the morning of July 22, 2009, Hu Weichun, Director of the National Security Team of Xinluo District Police Department, Longyan City, Fujian Province along with several policemen ransacked Mr. Wang Shunping's home without a search warrant. Then they arrested Mr. Wang and sent him to the Longyan City Detention Center. At around 3:00 p.m. on December 3, 2009, Mr. Wang was put on trial at the Xinluo District Court.
On February 9, 2010, a judge from the Xinluo District Court illegally sentenced Mr. Wang to three and a half years of imprisonment. The court didn't notify Mr. Wang's family about the sentencing or give his attorney time to prepare, as he was notified only the day before the trial. Mr. Wang has instructed his defense attorney to appeal the sentencing. During the trial, Xiamen City 610 Office personnel constantly pressured Mr. Wang's attorney.
