(Clearwisdom.net) On the afternoon of September 22, 2009, Bi Shuqing, the chief of the Qitaihe City Police Department 610 Office, together with tens of police officers, arrested Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Li Xinchun, Mr. Guo Qizhong, Mr. Jiang Botao, Ms. Guan Shuxue, Ms. Liu Fangrong and Ms. Li Fengbo. They also arrested Ms. Zhang Xiulian and her sister, who run a business of selling computers and related products.
Ms. Zhang Xiulian, her sister, and Ms. Li Fengbo, who has symptoms of late stage lung cancer as a result of persecution, were released. Ms. Li's daughter and Ms. Liu Fangrong's mother have asked an attorney to defend them and help them reach a not guilty verdict. On December 25, 2009, the attorney started working on it. Practitioner Mr. Jiang Botao is a teacher. His 6-year-old son was scared when police officers went into their home. Now he stays away from home with his mother. He wrote on a piece of paper again and again, "I miss my daddy. My daddy is a good person. Please release my daddy. I miss him, daddy..." Before that, Mr. Jiang Botao's wife had asked an attorney to defend him and have him found not guilty. On November 23, 2009, the attorney went to the police department to find out more information according to normal procedures. His request was rejected. Mr. Jiang's mother went to Bi Shuqing, the chief of the 610 Office who is specifically in charge of the persecution of Falun Gong. When she went to him, Bi threatened the senior lady and demanded that she write a statement guaranteeing she "will not hire an attorney"; otherwise, Bi threatened, they would also arrest Mr. Jiang's wife.
Ms. Liu Yunrong was tortured and has heart disease. Her seventy-year-old mother went to see her but was not allowed in and so went to see Bi Shuqing. Bi shifted the responsibility and said that it was the police department's responsibility. Then the mother went to the Xinxing Police Department. Ding Yihui of the National Security Division shifted the responsibility again and told her to go to the city police department. Ms. Liu's husband is unemployed. Her daughter is a college student. Their daughter cries every time she talks about her mother.
Ms. Li Xinchun's husband works at a coal mine. He works very hard and does a good job there. Their daughter was scared when police officers broke into their home. She felt uncomfortable and did not dare to sleep at home. Now the father and daughter are scared and worried, waiting for Ms. Li Xinchun to come back.
Mr. Guo Qizhong also works at a coal mine. His sister has been trying to rescue him and every day she is worried about his condition.
Ms. Guan Shuxue is a teacher whose husband also works at a coal mine. Their son, a college student who studies out of town, is back home. He is eager to borrow money with his father to try to rescue his good mother.
