(Clearwisdom.net) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner and was just recently released from prison. Upon returning home, I found that our local area is short-staffed and needs help in computer and printer maintenance. I thought to myself, "This is my responsibility, and I should take on this task." I started to work on it right away. It was very difficult when I repaired the first printer because I had never done this kind of work before. It took me nearly a whole afternoon just to open the outer case. I was so worried that I got a headache. I became self-conscious and thought to myself, "How can I repair this machine in such a bad cultivation state? Besides, I am so clumsy." As soon as my human notions came up, I lost confidence in myself. I sat on the floor and stared at the machine, feeling helpless.
I could not sleep that night and thought, "I cannot allow myself to become disheartened. Fellow practitioners are waiting for me to get the job done. Fixing the printer is my responsibility, and I must finish it. Master, please help me." It took me a long time to strengthen the thought: "I will certainly be able to fix it."
The next day, I looked at the printer on the desk calmly. My mind was empty. I did not have any thoughts, such as, being afraid that other practitioners would think poorly of me or that I must fix it. There were no messy thoughts in my mind. Everything in the room seemed to be still, even the air. I just calmly worked on the machine. Carefully, I took it apart, found the problem, fixed it and put it back together again. The printer was repaired that easily.
I had done it. However, I was still very calm. I was not overjoyed or too excited. I experienced being in the state free of intention. It is truly magnificent. I know from the bottom of my heart that it was not because of my ability, but rather Dafa's power and Master's boundless compassion that I was able to succeed. As long as our hearts are pure, Master's power will manifest. I understand that all of our abilities are given by Master. Master is doing everything. This is truly an example of, "cultivation depends on one's own efforts while the transformation of gong is done by the master." (Zhuan Falun)
Ever since that day, I have been able to fix all the printers sent to me.
