(Clearwisdom.net) Dafa practitioner Ms. Cui Zhengshu was persecuted to death eight years ago. Her son, Pu Yonghe, is now studying in the Thirty First High School in Jilin City.

Yonghe and his mother, Cui Zhengshu

Ms. Cui Zhengshu was a dedicated practitioner. She was twice illegally sentenced and sent to forced labor camps. The second time, Chinese Communist Party (CCP) officials encouraged inmates to deprive her of sleep, so that she was only able to sleep about 22 hours over the course of 33 days (as reported on the Minghui/Clearwisdom website). She became so weak that she was unable to take care of herself. When she was about to die, the CCP officials let her out of the camp on April 18, 2003. She passed away on August 12, 2003.

Since his mother's death, Yonghe has lived with his father and grandmother. His grandmother took a job for a time, to support the family, working eleven hours per day. After she retired, her pension was the family's only income, because his father was out of a job and is still looking for one. His grandmother has been taking care of him for eight years now. During this time, his grandfather, who was a practitioner, also passed away.
