Those fellow practitioners who easily tend to worship others or who are worshiped by others should look inside.
When some practitioners talked about how they had saved sentient beings, they focused on how they did it, what they did, how many people were saved and how much suffering they endured. Therefore, they were worshiped by other practitioners. They seldom mentioned how much Teacher had done for them during their cultivation. Teacher said in the "The Fa Rectifies the Human Heart" in Falun Dafa Essentials For Further Advancement,
"At present, of all the good citizens and good deeds publicized by the media--such as radio, TV, newspapers, etc.--many have been done by our Dafa practitioners since they practice cultivation in Dafa and have improved their xinxing. The news reports, however, claim that these people have done so because they are role models or key figures, etc., thereby completely disregarding the fact that their conduct was a result of their practicing Dafa cultivation. This is mainly caused by disciples themselves. Cultivation practice is a great and magnificent thing. Why can't you tell the interviewers in an open and dignified manner that you do those things because you practice Dafa cultivation? If the reporter does not want to mention Dafa, we should not cover up for any form that plagiarizes Dafa and fails to validate it. All of us are trying to be good people, and this is in the interest of society and mankind. Why can't we have a just and legitimate environment? Disciples, you should bear in mind that Dafa is harmonizing you and you are also harmonizing Dafa."

For those fellow practitioners who are really good, other people cannot easily see how well they have cultivated.
No matter how much they have done and how magnificent they were, they generally would say how Teacher gave them the wisdom and how Teacher made such a perfect arrangement. They'd tell people how selfish they were before they practiced Dafa and after becoming a Dafa practitioner, how much they had changed and it was all because of the power of the Fa. Therefore, both they and the people who listened to them would appreciate Teacher's immense compassion and they would hold full respect and gratitude towards Teacher and the Fa.

How to prevent this problem
When I first started to practice Dafa, I always went to the person who introduced the Fa to me for answers to my questions. Every time I was told that I could get the answer from studying the Fa. Sometimes he'd tell me where I could find the answer in which section of which lecture. Every time he guided me to get enlightened on the Fa by myself. Gradually, I learned how to find the answers to my questions. In this way, we completely prevented the issue of worshiping and being worshiped from happening. We all improved in the Fa. In our hearts, we hold our firm belief in the Fa. We feel how intriguing and profound the Fa is. We deeply know how much Teacher has suffered to help us grow. We know each and every step forward is with Teacher's benevolence and assistance. Now I have been practicing Dafa for twelve years. Teacher asked us to memorize the Fa. Therefore I'm memorizing the Fa when studying the Fa now.

Take the Fa as our teacher
Teacher said in the "Comments for Republication" in Explaining the Content of Falun Dafa, "I hope that Dafa disciples can take the Fa as their teacher, deter interference, and cultivate solidly--this is how a person makes diligent progress."
The above is my understanding. Teacher helped me enlighten to these things and showed me the Fa principles at that level when I recited the Fa.
