(Clearwisdom.net) Shen Yun Performing Arts thrilled a packed audience at the Lindenwood's J. Scheidegger Center for the Arts, Bezemes Family Theater in St. Louis on February 13, 2010. Nina Ganci, a fashion designer who runs her own clothing business, was in attendance.

"It's delightful, it's been a real joy and a pleasure to be here. The music is fantastic, and the colors are surprisingly, Chinese," she said.

Ms. Ganci said that the colors in the show were "very, very beautiful" and that the handmade costumes were "very inspirational" and "free flowing, very light weight, and soft." She thought that the costume's fabric "just fluttered constantly, it was very beautiful; it sparkled."

When the topic of the Shen Yun International Company Orchestra came up, she excitedly said, "Oh, the orchestra I have to say ... I think the music is phenomenal. I wish the musicians were on stage too," so that she could see them.

Mr. Ganci concluded by saying, "I would highly recommend the show to anyone, it's been a lot fun."

Also in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Nelson and their four-year-old daughter, who said that they thoroughly enjoyed the show.

Trained as an artist and an artistic director for various dance productions, Mrs. Nelson said that the Shen Yun show "Is an amazing portrayal of the Chinese culture. Colorful. I love the fact that my daughter gets to see a variety of dances [in the show] because she takes ballet and just started her first class."

In discussing the costumes she said, "I thought it was just beautiful, from the first show to the music to the songs, beautiful, and the dancers and the costumes are made amazing. The costume department should get a round applause, because it's just amazing! What they do with the dances and their hair.

"Ooh yes, I can tell [laughing] ... I am an artist. They are all great. The show has been beautiful and extraordinary. It is worth the money," added Mrs. Nelson.

Mr. Nelson, an aerospace engineer added, "Everything has been very nice ... I like it very much."

Former Ballerina from Russia: "You need to see that show!"

Mr. Belaya, a former boxer and his wife, a former ballerina, emigrated to the U.S. from Russia.

Mr. Belaya thought that the female dancers were "professional dancers" and that the show is "professional and the artists are pretty. It's beautiful people. It's dancing, I mean, good, amazing dancing."

He said that he found it difficult to put the show in words. "So, I mean, you can't describe this, really. I mean, you can't describe the sunset to people."

Ms. Belaya said that she also enjoyed the show, "The costumes were nice and the music was good. Beautiful costumes and professional dancers."

She said that she would highly recommend the show to anyone. "You need to see that show. One can't describe this show. One needs to see this amazing show," she said.
