(Clearwisdom.net) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 7 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention and at least 27 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jilin Province] Additional Information about Practitioners Arrested in Huadian City
Ms. Zhou Yulan, Ms. Liu Shuying and another practitioner with the surname Cao were arrested on the night of November 26, 2010. Ms. Zhou and Ms. Liu are being held at the Jilin Detention Center.
Ms. Cao was taken to a hospital, where she was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She was subsequently released, but police officers claimed that the diagnosis was not correct and said she needed to have a second physical exam. They also confiscated her computer, printer, and other electronic equipment. Police officers then went to Ms. Cao's elder sister's home and ransacked it. As a result of being frightened, the sister experienced recurrence of heart disease and now is receiving treatment at a city hospital.
On the same day, police officers went to Ms. Song Guifen's home while she was away. They arrested her husband, who is not a practitioner, and held him for one night. On November 29, 2010, Yu Xiaoqiang, from the Domestic Security Division, along with other security personnel, arrested Ms. Song. She is being held at the Jilin City Detention Center.

2. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xiaogang Leaves Home to Avoid Being Arrested
Mr. Xiaogang from Santaizi, Guanghui Township, Yuhong District, Shenyang City, was reported while he distributed Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials. Officers from the Guanghui Township Laobian Police Station ransacked his home and took away his computer and printer. He had to leave home to avoid being arrested.

3. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Ms. Zhao Lijuan and Mr. Li Yibin
Ms. Zhao Lijuan and her husband Mr. Li Yibin were arrested by officers from the Mingshan Domestic Security Division at 5:30 a.m. on October 28, 2010. Their home was ransacked. The officers took away over 2000 yuan, a notebook computer, Falun Gong books, and other personal property.
4. [Huludao City, Liaoning Province] Additional Information about Mr. Cui Shuhuai and Ms. Zhang Jing
Practitioners Mr. Cui Shuhuai and Ms. Zhang Jing were arrested at home by officers from the Gangyaoling Police Station on the morning of November 30, 2010. They are being held at the Qitun Detention Center in Huludao City.

5. [Diaobingshan City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ren Fenghua Suffers Mental Instability as a Result of the Persecution
Ms. Ren Fenghua from Diaobingshan City was detained at the No. 3 Ward of the Masanjia Labor Camp in Shenyang City on November 24, 2010. One week later, she became mentally unstable as a result of the persecution.

6. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Additional Information about Ms. Zhang Li, Ms. Gao Yan, and Ms. Xie Shuhong
Ms. Zhang Li, Ms. Gao Yan, and Ms. Xie Shuhong were followed by a plainclothes police officer while they clarified the facts about Falun Gong on a street in the afternoon of November 16, 2010. At 3:00 p.m., the three practitioners were arrested and taken to a police station, where they were searched. In the process, police officers stole Ms. Gao and Ms. Xie's cash, totaling over 50 yuan, and confiscated their keys. Each practitioner was locked in a different cell. At 2:00 a.m. the next day, they were taken to the Nanshan Detention Center. When police officers subsequently came to get their fingerprints, Ms. Zhang did not cooperate, but the officers opened her palm by force. Police officers also ransacked Ms. Gao's home, interrogated her and told her that they had confiscated her Zhuan Falun books.
Ms. Gao was released at 7:30 a.m. on December 1, 2010. Ms. Zhang and Ms. Xie's whereabouts are unknown.
7. [Yushu City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Yingong Arrested
Fan Hongkai from the Yushu City Domestic Security Division and other police officers came to the Wukeshu Fenggu Wine Factory in Yushu City at noon on December 1, 2010, and arrested Mr. Zhang Yingong, who was working there. They then proceeded to ransack his home without any search documents and took away his Falun Gong books.
Mr. Zhang's mother has cerebral thrombosis and has been relying on her son to take care of her. Now there is no one to take care of her.

8. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xu Sujing and Ms. Li Ranxiang Arrested
Ms. Xu Sujing, 57, from Liuhe Village, Gudi Town was reported to the police. At 2:00 p.m. on September 16, 2010, two officers from the Gudi Police Station and four officers from the Hanting Police Station stormed into her home and took away her Falun Gong books, CDs and truth-clarifying materials, an MP3 player, cell phones, and her computer. She was taken to the Gudi Police Station. At approximately 4:00 p.m., they took her to the Hanting Police Department and handcuffed her. She was then taken to the No. 2 Hospital to have a physical test and transferred to the Weifang Detention Center. However, at 9:00 p.m., because of a health problem, she was taken back to the Hanting Police Department. Police officers called her husband, a non-practitioner, to come to the police department. He was forced to pay 3000 yuan before they released his wife.
Ms. Li Ranxiang, a practitioner from the same village, in her 70s, was also arrested. Police officers ransacked her home and took away Falun Gong books. She was taken to the Gudi Police Station, but released on the same day.

9. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Mr. Feng Wenli Arrested
Officers from the Xinji City Leather Commercial City Police Station arrested Mr. Feng Wenli on the morning of December 1, 2010. He is being held at the Xinji Detention Center.

10. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Duan Lixin Arrested
Mr. Duan Lixin from Louli Village, Huantai County, Zibo City, and another practitioner with surname Zhang from Caoying Village went to distribute truth-clarifying materials on the night of November 22, 2010 and were arrested by officers from the Zhoujia Town Police Station in Huantai County. The next day, officers lied to get into Mr. Duan and Mr. Zhang's home and ransacked the properties. They took away computers, printers, Falun Gong books, and truth-clarifying materials. Mr. Duan and Mr. Zhang were reported to be held at the So Town Detention Center, Huantai County, Zibo City.
11. [Penglai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Cong Yuehua Leaves Home to Avoid Being Arrested
Officers from the Penglai City Police Department stormed into Ms. Cong Yuehua's home in Daxindian Village, Daxindian Town, to arrest her on the night of November 28, 2010. However, she escaped and has had to become homeless to avoid being arrested.
12. [Wuxue City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wu Qing, Ms. Shao Chunying, and Ms. Chen Xuezhen Arrested
Mr. Wu Qing and Ms. Shao Chunying were arrested by officers from the Wuxue City State Security Division and taken to the Hubei Province Brainwashing Center on the morning of November 30, 2010. The officers confiscated their keys and ransacked their homes, taking away computers, printers, and other personal property.
Ms. Chen Xuezhen was arrested by officers from the Qinglin Police Station in Wuxue City and is being held at the Wuxue City Detention Center. Officers also took away personal property from her home.
13. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Ms. Gu Zhifang Arrested
Ms. Gu Zhifang, who lives in the Chenzhou City Railway Station Residential Zone, was arrested at her home by officers from the Suxian District Domestic Security Division in Chenzhou City on November 26, 2010. Her home was ransacked. She is being held at the Chenzhou City Detention Center.
14. [Zhijin County, Guizhou City] Mr. Feng Qiming, Mr. Cai Faming, Mr. Fan Fagui, and Ms. Wang Qin Arrested
Four practitioners were arrested in Zhijin County, including Mr. Feng Qiming, Mr. Cai Faming, Mr. Fan Fagui, and Ms. Wang Qin.

15. [Mei County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Tong Arrested
Ms. Liu Tong, a physics teacher from Dongshan Middle School in Mei County, was arrested by officers from the Meijiang District Domestic Security Division at her home in Dongxiang Teachers' Village, Jiangbei, Meicheng, on November 25, 2010.
16. [Leshan City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wang Mingzhong Tried
Mr. Wang Mingzhou from Leshan City was tried at around 3:00 p.m. on December 1, 2010. He clarified the truth about Falun Gong in court for half an hour, after which the judge announced that court was adjourned. Mr. Wang was released soon afterward.
17. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liao Daying Arrested
Ms. Liao Daying, in her 50s, from Suining City lives at the No. 4 Community, Fujiang Village, Longping Street Neighborhood Administration Office. At noon on November 23, 2010, she was arrested while collecting her harvest in the fields. Her family was not informed until later, when someone contacted them to send some clothes for Ms. Liao to the Suining City Beigu Brainwashing Center.
18. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Additional Information about Ms. Yao Xiuying
At 4:00 p.m. on November 23, 2010, Ms. Yao Xiuying from Suizhou City was arrested and taken to a brainwashing center. At dinner time, she felt sick and had a physical exam. Her blood pressure was over 200 mmHg. The officers were afraid of being held responsible and at 10:00 p.m., the officers drove her back home. In order to relieve themselves of any responsibility for her health problem, they told a security guard at her living complex that they had found her after she had fallen.
19. [Ziyang City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liu Cuiyu Arrested
Ms. Liu Cuiyu from the Ziyang Locomotive Co. of the Nanche Group was arrested during the day in November, 2010 and taken to Er'ehu Brainwashing Center in Yingjie Town, Ziyang City.
20. [Lingshan County, Guangxi Province] Ms. Chen Yuanqing Arrested
Ms. Chen Yuanqing from Lingshan County went to the police station to get her newly issued ID, but was arrested instead. On the same day, she was taken to a brainwashing center organized by the Qinzhou City 610 Office. Before that, she had gone to the police station to get an ID many times, but was refused for various reasons.
21. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qi Disappeared after Being Harassed
On November 26, 2010, Ms. Qi, 79, was harassed by police, who asked her whether she practiced Falun Gong. She was told that if she said “yes,” she would be arrested. She replied firmly, “Yes.” On November 28, 2010, she disappeared after going out to buy some food. Her whereabouts are unknown.
22. [Panjin City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Liu Yang Persecuted
Officers from the Bohai Police Station of the Xinglongtai District Police Department in Panjin City stormed into Mr. Liu Yang's home at 8:00 p.m. on November 11, 2010. They ransacked his home and took away his Falun Gong books, two notebook computers, DVD burners, some DVD discs, an MP4 player, and other personal property. The officers planned to arrest him, but he left home and stayed away for over 20 days to avoid being arrested.
