(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 16 cities or counties in 11 provinces. In this report, 17 practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 26 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Boai County, He'nan Province] Ms. Zhang Guifang Persecuted to Death
Ms. Zhang Guifang from Shangmazhuang, Shangzhuangxiang in Boai County was arrested by officers from Boshan Town Police Station, including officer Du Tao, towards the end of 2000. She was then detained at Xiaozhongli Detention Center for over a month and severely tortured. As a result, her illness recurred and she passed away in the winter of 2001 at the age of 46.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Jin Xiuwen Taken to Beijing Women's Prison
Ms. Jin Xiuwen, 60, is from the Xicheng District in Beijing. She was arrested along with 66-year-old Mr. Liu Xigong by officers from Xinjiekou Police Station in the Xicheng District on December 19, 2009. Their homes were also ransacked. The authorities issued an arrest warrant for them on January 26, 2010. They were tried in Haidian Court on June 2, 2010. Ms. Jin was sentenced to four and half years imprisonment on July 13, 2010. She has been transferred from Haidian District Detention Center to Beijing Women's Prison.

3. [Renhuai, Guizhou Province] Six Practitioners Detained for Over a Month
Officers from the Renhuai Police Bureau arrested Mr. Lu Rangzhong, Ms. Shi Zhirong, and Ms. Zhao Mingzhi and detained them for over a month. The whereabouts of another male practitioner who was also arrested is unknown. Mr. Zhou Lianhai, Ms. Cao Ganrong, and Ms. Zhang Qinghui from Jinsha County were detained in Renhuai Police Bureau Detention Center for over two months. The police extorted 30,000 yuan from Ms. Zhang's family before releasing her.

4. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Mr. Wang Yukun Arrested
Mr. Wang Yukun from Shandong Road in the Ganjingzi District in Dalian was reported to the authorities orf telling people the facts about Falun Gong at a Quanshui Economic Dwelling construction site. He was arrested by officers from Dafangshen Police Station in Dalianwan Town at about 5:00 p.m.

5. [Wuhan, Hubei Province] Mr. Feng Yuejin Harassed and Threatened
On the afternoon of November 22, 2010, a group of officers from the Jiang'an District 610 Office and the Domestic Security Division broke into Mr. Feng Yuejin's home. They confiscated Dafa-related materials and threatened Mr. Feng.

7. [Fuyang, Anhui Province] Ms. Wang Suying Arrested at Home
Ms. Wang Suying is retired from the Fuyang City Education Bureau. Su Min, the chief of Yingzhou District Police Bureau, and several officers arrested her at home on the morning of November 16, 2010. They also ransacked her home and confiscated a computer and other personal items. Ms. Wang is currently detained in a brainwashing center.

8. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Xie Guoxiang Arrested
Officers from Liujiaying Police Station arrested Ms. Xie Guoxiang from Liujiaying Village, the Fengrun Districtm while she was distributing truth-clarification materials on the morning of November 24, 2010.
9. [Jilin Province] Mr. Ma Guohong on a Hunger Strike
Mr. Ma Guohong has been on a hunger strike for a week. Mr. Ma Desheng from Qingyuan County has been in solitary confinement for 29 days now.
10. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Jingwen Taken to Dabei Women's Prison
Ms. Sun Jingwen was sentenced to four years imprisonment. She was taken to Dabei Women's Prison in Shenyang in the middle of November.
11. [Diaobingshan, Liaoning Province] Ms. Bao Jinglin Arrested
Zhang Fenglai, the captain of the Domestic Security Division's Diaobingshan City Police Bureau, and other officers went to Ms. Bao Jinglin's home at around 2:00 a.m. on November 10, 2010, ostensibly to conduct a residence census. They ransacked her home and confiscated some of her personal items. Ms. Bao is being held in Tieling City Detention Center.

12. [Liaoyuan, Jilin Province] Ms. Shang Shuxia Arrested
Nankang Police Bureau officers broke into Ms. Shang Shuxia's home at about 10:00 a.m. on November 22, 2010. They arrested Ms. Shang and ransacked her home.
13. [Dalian, Liaoning Province] Two Female Practitioners Arrested
Officers from Huazhong Road Police Station in the Ganjingzi District arrested two female practitioners in their 60s at around 3:30 p.m. on November 23, 2010. One of them was later released. The other, however, was taken to Dalian City Detention Center after she failed the physical examination. This practitioner didn't reveal her identity to the police.
14. [Changchun, Jilin Province] Erdao District Court Secretly Tries Mr. Wang Zhihong and His Wife, Ms. Sun Xiuxia
Officers from the Changchun 610 Office, the Changchun Police Bureau and the Erdao Police Bureau took Mr. Wang Zhihong and his wife, Ms. Sun Xiuxia, to the Erdao District Court for a secret trial at about 6:00 a.m. on September 26, 2010. The couple have been illegally imprisoned for a year. The authorities didn't inform their family about the trial. Mr. Wang was sentenced to three years imprisonment and Ms. Sun to ten years. The family has not yet received the verdict documents.

15. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Lihua Arrested
Officers from Qiaotun Police Station of Lubei arrested Ms. Li Lihua from her home on Caochang Street in Tangshan on November 24, 2010. They also ransacked her home.

16. [Guangzhou, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Zhizhou Arrested
The police ransacked Ms. Wang Jinlan's home in Deyuan Community on Hongqiao Street, the Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, on November 24, 2010. Her husband, Mr. Zhang Zhizhou, was then arrested.
17. [Tonghua, Jilin Province] Several Practitioners Harassed and Arrested
Four officers from Dongchang Police Station and the director of Dongjiang Community, Huo Ying, went to Ms. Han Yuhua's home on October 29, 2010. They ransacked her home, confiscated several Falun Gong books, and tried to arrest her. Ms. Han's husband was severely ill and couldn't take care of himself. He was able to keep them from arresting Ms.Han. The police and personnel from the community continue to harass and threaten Ms. Han and her husband.
Dongchang Police Station officers ransacked the homes of Ms. Liu Ying, Ms. Pang Zengju, and Mr. Hu Song on November 3, 2010. They confiscated Ms. Pang's Dafa books and two piles of cash.
Dongchang police ransacked Ms. Xiong Ying's home and confiscated her Dafa books on November 4, 2010. When she refused to go with the police, her husband fainted because he was so upset by all the commotion.
Officers from Tonghua Police Bureau and the Dongchang Police Station searched Ms. Li Xiuqing's workplace and arrested her at around 2:40 p.m. on November 15, 2010. Then they went to her home and ransacked it. After they couldn't find what they were looking for, they released her.
The police ransacked Mr. Wang Jingjie's home in November 2010. They also ransacked Ms. Zhang Shumin's home.
18. [Tangshan, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiufen and Her Family Members Arrested
The police ransacked Ms. Zhang Xiufeng's home in Shenshui Court Village, Zunhua City, at about 5:00 a.m. Then they arrested Ms. Zhang Xiufen and two of her family members, Ms. Chen Yuqun and Mr. Chen Jianjun.
19. [Qingdao, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Youmei and Ms. Wang Xianqi Arrested
Ms. Wang Youmei and Ms. Wang Qianqi from Liu Village, Dazhuge, Zhangying Town of Jiaozhou, were arrested on November 23, 2010, when they were telling people the facts about Falun Gong. The police ransacked their homes at around 3:00 p.m. and confiscated Dafa books.

21. [Lanzhou, Gansu Province] Ms. Guo Aimin Detained at Taoshuping Detention Center
Fulongping Police Station officers arrested Ms. Guo Aimin and Ms. Li Shengjie for distributing truth-clarification materials on the afternoon of November 23, 2010. Both practitioners are in their 60s and from Baiyinlu Publishing. They were detained until 1:00 a.m. on November 24 and then taken to Taoshuping Detention Center. Ms. Li failed the physical exam and was sent home. Ms. Guo is still being held in Taoshuping Detention Center.
