(Clearwisdom.net) A recent experience sharing article published on the Minghui website was written by a judge who is a Falun Gong practitioner. She talked about her experience with detention in 2000.
"In my prison cell, I often see inmates brawling and fighting about trivial issues. I started telling them the principles and teachings of Falun Gong, reciting what I could recall, and teaching them the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Soon afterward the inmates became tolerant and considerate of each other. There was an inmate who was detained for fighting. After the intended fifteen-day detention, she requested the detention center allow her to have a final dinner with all the inmates. She was in tears during the dinner. One of the detention officers said, 'It is so surprising. This has never happened in the history of the detention center.' Later, an officer asked me to come to their office and said to me, 'Don't just teach the inmates. Tell us something about Falun Gong and teach us how to practice the exercises too.' So I did. Shortly after that, they specially arranged for me to stay in a well-maintained cell, brought me a copy of Zhuan Falun and allowed me to study the Fa and do the exercises.
"The detention center once fed spoiled milk to the inmates, so I talked to the political instructor, 'Please taste the milk. If it's not gone bad, I will pay for it. But if it is bad, please replace it for everybody.' In the end, all inmates got fresh milk. And at that moment, there came the chant 'Long live Falun Gong' from the men's detention division and soon the women followed."
We can see from the judge's simple story why the inmates all chanted "Long live Falun Gong."
On December 25, 2006, the Minghui website published an apology letter from all the policemen of a certain police station to Falun Gong practitioners. The letter reads as follows:
"In the past, we at this police station persecuted many Falun Gong practitioners, causing you tremendous suffering and broken families with dead family members. All policemen of our police station want to sincerely apologize to you. We are truly sorry. We were coerced by the CCP authorities. Our superiors ordered that we cannot beat ordinary inmates, but we can beat Falun Gong practitioners as we wish, as long as we don't kill them. Now as we look back, we know the CCP is evil. We won't continue being members of the CCP. In the future we will be good to Falun Gong practitioners and also do our best to help practitioners. Lastly, we beg you to pardon us. Please continue to practice Falun Gong well. Our police station will help you. Long live Falun Gong."
The letter was from police officers who have learned the truth of Falun Gong. They went from persecuting practitioners to helping them. They even said, "Long live Falun Gong." This is a truly profound phenomenon worthy of everyone's consideration.
Falun Gong is a cultivation system and therefore has requirements for practitioners. It is to a practitioner's own benefit to conduct him or herself according to the requirements. Practitioners' noble words and actions in their daily lives are a manifestation of Falun Gong. The police officers said, "Long live Falun Gong" because they were truly moved by practitioners' noble deeds.
So many people have realized the greatness of Falun Gong over the years. Although some of these people do not practice Falun Gong, their attitudes towards Falun Gong are naturally from their hearts. Whether a belief is righteous or not should not be judged arbitrarily by the government. Falun Gong has been widely accepted and acclaimed because of its intrinsic pure beauty and glory.
