(Clearwisdom.net) Teacher told us, "...the whole process of cultivation is a process of constantly getting rid of human attachments." (Zhuan Falun) We should enrich ourselves with Dafa's principles and gradually get rid of the human notions and attachments that were formed over thousands of years of human life.

When facing a conflict, interference, or when I am clueless about where to look for my attachments, I say to myself, "My attachment lies in that thing or that sentence which caught my attention. Seize that moment and start searching from there. I am bound to find my attachment."

My heart aches whenever I think of how I tried to ignore it when others brought up my cultivation issues. It is a tremendous attachment that I absolutely cannot ignore and must tackle head-on.

Cultivation is a very down-to-earth process in which we must constantly purify ourselves. It is analogous to cleaning a room in that you may miss a dirty corner, although you do the cleaning every day.

We study the Fa every day, but we may not be able to touch our hard-to-reach corners, thus leaving our attachments untouched.

It is our purpose to look inward, dig deep, find our human attachments, and get rid of them. Getting rid of attachments is much more difficult than finding them.

Above is my understanding at my limited level. Fellow practitioners, please point out anything incorrect.
