One day, a policeman came to my house, demanding a sample of my handwriting for verification. I had been studying the Fa very diligently and my righteous thoughts were very strong. I immediately realized that I could not cooperate with him because, if I did, I would have helped the authorities narrow down their search and created danger for other practitioners. Besides, his demand was unreasonable, and his visit was a form of harassment and an interruption to my life.
I told him that I would not give him anything with my handwriting on it. At first his reaction was very arrogant, "If you don't write something now, I will come to your house every single day!" My husband, who was standing next to me, started to get upset with me. I told the officer, "You see, my husband is going to start a fight with me after you leave. We get along very well, but every visit of yours causes an argument between us. Aren't you sabotaging our relationship? In addition, my neighbors all know that I'm a good person and have not committed any wrongdoing. Now that I have been detained several times and you keep coming to my house wearing that police uniform, what would they think? What have I done to deserve such treatment?"
With my righteous thoughts, his aggressive attitude was gone. He said, "I know you're a good person. I will not wear my uniform when I come tomorrow." By now my husband had calmed down and his thinking became righteous. He supported me by saying, "Your visit is harassment." I added, "I will not write anything for the police, even if you do not wear uniforms."
I went out to do errands the next day. The police officer did not come. Instead, personnel from the neighborhood committee came and left my child a note for me to sign. I did not sign it, and they never came again.
I had written things for them in the past due to fear and a poor understanding of the Fa's principles, and thus I did something wrong. Today Dafa has given me righteous thoughts and offered me opportunities to correct my mistakes and let me understand clearly how to harmonize the one-body of Dafa disciples.
Master does not acknowledge the old forces' arrangements, and neither do I. We can disintegrate the evil persecution with righteous thoughts and righteous actions. Dafa disciples are one body. If we cooperate well together, we can play a larger role in disintegrating the evil and saving sentient beings.
