(Clearwisdom.net) Today's News from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities in 11 provinces. In this report, 6 Falun Dafa practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 27 practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Suizhong County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Wei and Ms. Huang Lihua Arrested
At 8:00 a.m. on October 20, 2010, four policemen from the Suizhong Domestic Security Division were en route to arrest Ms. Liu Wei to take her to the Suizhong County Police Station. In the meanwhile, they were conspiring to arrest Ms. Huang Lihua from the Experimental Elementary School.

2. [Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Shuiling Arrested and Taken to the Brainwashing Center at the Guangzhou City Law School
On September 29, Ms. Chen Shuiling, in her 40s from the Yuexiu District in Guangzhou City was arrested by plainclothes police while commuting back to her home. Later they ransacked her home and confiscated her two computers. Ms. Chen is now detained at the brainwashing center.
3. [Chongqing City] Mr. Wang Zehngfu and Ms. Chen Yanxiu Arrested
On October 8, 2010, officers from Jiulongpo Police Station arrested 71-year-old Mr. Wang Zhengfu and his wife, 56-year-old Ms. Chen Yanxiu, both retired from the Songzao Coal Mine in the Bianyun District of Chongqing City. At 6:30 p.m. on October 9, 2010, officers from Jiulong Police Station conspired with the Anwen Police Station of Chongqing County in Chongqing City to ransack the practitioners' home and confiscate their Dafa books and truth clarification materials. Mr. Wang and Ms. Chen's current whereabouts are still unknown.
4. [Zhangqiu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Ji Shengxiao Arrested
At 7:00 p.m. on September 27, 2010, officers from the Zhangqiu City Development Zone Police Station arrested Mr. Ji Shengxiao, around 50 years old, from Beifeng Village, Bucun Town, while he was telling people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. They took him to Zhangqiu City Detention Center and beat him brutally. On October 11, he was taken to the Liuchangshan Brainwashing Center in Jinan City.

5. [Zhucheng, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Jinying Taken to Wangcun Forced Labor Camp
In early August 2010, Ms. Zhang Jinying, in her 50s, told a primary student "Falun Dafa is good" while she was taking care of her sister-in-law at Zhucheng Traditional Medical Hospital. The student's father reported Ms. Zhang to the police. Officials from the Zhucheng City 610 Office seized her and took her to Zhucheng Detention Center. On September 1, she was taken to Wangcun No. 2 Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shandong Province.
6. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Chen Arrested and Taken to Mudanjiang Prison
On October 15, 2010, Mr. Zhang Chen from Harbin City was arrested and taken to Mudanjiang Prison.
7. [Shaowu City, Fujian Province] Ms. Wang Chun Arrested
On the morning of May 17, 2010, police officers from Shaowu City Domestic Security Division broke into Ms. Wang Chun's home and arrested her. She is now in Shaowu City Detention Center. That same day, they ransacked the home of another practitioner, Ms. Qiu Guiyun.
8. [Sichuan Province] Mr. Liu Guangdi Passed Away As a Result of the Persecution
Mr. Liu Guangdi, a 60-year-old practitioner who was the head of the Power Section of the Sichuan Energy Investment Company, Ltd., was arrested while he was distributing truth-clarification materials during the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Later he was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp, where he was seriously tortured. Due to physical and spiritual persecution, he showed symptoms of serious diseases. He was released on April 10, 2009, but passed away on the morning of September 25, 2010.
9. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Fu Min and Ms. Guan Yue Arrested
At approximately 10:00 a.m. on October 20, 2010, Ms. Fu Min and Ms. Guan Yue were seized by some unidentified people in their own residential community. They were taken to Xiaojinqiao Police Station in the Dadong District, Shenyang City.
10. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Huang Fengyun Arrested
In mid October, Ms. Huang Fengyun from Xinxiang Village Xiangshun Township, Tonghe County, was arrested.
11. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Sun Guiling Arrested
At approximately 10:00 a.m. on October 20, 2010, Ms. Sun Guiling was arrested by officers from Dafangshen Police Station in the Jinzhou District of Dalian City.

12. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Hou Chengxiang Arrested
On October 19, 2010, officers from Xuejiadao Police Station arrested Ms. Hou Chengxiang from Xuejiadao, the Huangdao District, Qingdao City, and ransacked her home.
13. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Junxiu and Ms. Zhang Xiuzhong Arrested and Detained
Ms. Zhang Junxiu from Shijiazhuang City was detained in Shitonglu Women's Forced Labor Camp in Shijiazhuang City. Ms. Zhang Xiuzhong was detained in Shijiazhuang Prison.
14. [Qian'an City, Hebei Province] Mr. Sun Yongsheng Tortured in Jidong Prison
On the evening of May 21, 2008, Mr. Sun Yongsheng; his wife, Ms. Li Xiuhua; and four other Falun Gong practitioners were arrested by local police officers. The practitioners had been on their way to Shangzhuang Township in Qian'an City to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were taken to the Domestic Security Division. All six were seriously tortured. Later they were taken to Qian'an City Detention Center. Mr. Sun Yongsheng was detained in a "Strictly-monitored Mid-Group" for three months. Later they were taken to the No. 1 Mid-Group of the No. 2 Group.
In mid April 2010, Mr. Sun Yongsheng, Ms. Li Xiuhua, and Mr. Yang Zhanmin were all sentenced to seven years in prison. Ms. Li Liqin and Mr. Shao Lianrong were both sentenced to seven and a half years in prison. They were sentenced to Shijiazhuang Women's Prison and Jidong (Men's) Prison. On September 11, Mr. Sun Yongsheng was detained again in a "Strictly-monitored Mid-Group." He has been detained in a cage for a long time. His hands and feet were handcuffed together so that he couldn't move. He was deprived of sleep for seven consecutive days and was often tortured.

15. [Laixi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Honglei Arrested
At approximately 7:00 a.m. on October 20, 2010, local police officers arrested Ms. Wang Honglei from Laixi City while she was taking her child to school. Her home was ransacked.
16. [Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Liu Xiurong Arrested
On September 20, 2010, Ms. Liu Xiurong from Xi'an City was arrested.
17. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Xu Mingxia and Ms. Xu Chunxia Detained in a Brainwashing Center
Ms. Xu Mingxia from Qishan, Baoji City, and Ms. Xu Chunxia from Shilipu in Baoji City were deceived by officials from their residential community, who told them they would offer them basic life security. They then took these two practitioners to the brainwashing center and tortured them.
18. [Mian County, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wang Fengzhen Arrested and Detained in a Brainwashing Center
On October 19, 2010, a dozen officials from the Mian County 610 Office and the residential community broke into the home of Ms. Wang Fengzhen, an elderly practitioner from Mian County, Hanzhong. They arrested her and took her to the Nanzhenghuayuan Hotel Brainwashing Center.

19. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wu Chunyu Arrested and Detained
On October 7, 2010, officers from the Jianghan District Police Station arrested 55-year-old Ms. Wu Chunyu from the Hanjiang District in Wuhan City. She is now in the No. 1 Detention Center in Erzhigou, Dongxihu, Wuhan City.
20. [Chongqing City] Mr. Zheng Shidong Arrested
At approximately 3:00 p.m. on October 12, 2010, officers from the Tangba Police Station conspired with the head and CCP secretary of Shengliqi Village to arrest Mr. Zheng Shidong, formerly from Shengliqi Village in Tangba Town, Tongnan County, Chongqing City, while he was doing the Falun Gong exercises at home. That same night, he was transferred to Tongnan County Detention Center.

21. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Zheng Meizhu Detained in Gulou District Detention Center
In April 2010, police arrested Ms. Zheng Meizhu from Minqing while she was distributing materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The arrest took place in Cangshan, Fuzhou City. She is now in the Gulou District Detention Center.
