(Clearwisdom.net) Elderly practitioners Ms. Wang Hua and Mr. Ma were arrested on October 20, 2010. They were taken to Erehu Brainwashing Center in Yingjie Town, Ziyang City. Three months ago, between July and September 2010, Jianyang City 610 Office agents arrested 19 practitioners in the region.
Ms. Wang Hua, in her 60s, lives at the Jianyang Salt Industry Company's residential compound. She had suffered from numerous illnesses including serious gastritis before practicing Falun Gong since 2003, but then recovered her health.
She was preparing lunch at home at noon on October 20, 2010, when seven or eight officers from local police station, from the Domestic Security division, and from the community rushed in and searched her residence. They confiscated Ms. Wang's Falun Gong books and other personal property worth 5,000 yuan. They took her to the Erehu Brainwashing Center around 1:00 p.m. that same day. Previously, Ms. Wang had been incarcerated in the same brainwashing center for a month and was released on March 18, 2009.
Mr. Ma, 72 years old, was arrested the evening of October 19, 2010. More than 20 police officers went to a rented residence near the Jianyang Railway Station around 2:00 p.m. on October 20. They seized personal belongings worth 20,000 yuan.
Communist regime agents in Jianyang City have persecuted Falun Gong practitioners without restraint since September 2010. They issued quotas to the township and town authorities for practitioners to be arrested.
Agents from the 610 Office, the State Security Division, and the Neighborhood Committee arrested Mr. Wang Huazhang (75 years old) on October 8, 2010. He is the retired head of the Three Star Cocoon Station at the Jianyang City Cocoon Company. Ms. Hu Yuanzhen, 75, from Jieyue Village, Shiqiao Town, was arrested on September 25, 2010. Seven to eight officers from the Chengzhong Police Station and from the 610 Office and from the Domestic Security Division collaborated with the Village Committee personnel to arrest her.
Ms. Hu was babysitting her six-month-old granddaughter at her daughter's home when the authorities arrived. Despite her granddaughter's cries, these people took Ms. Hu away, leaving the baby uncared for at home. When Ms. Hu's neighbor heard the baby crying, she went to Ms. Hu's daughter's place of employment to notify her of the child's plight.
