(Clearwisdom.net) I recently read "Fa Teaching Given in Manhattan" again. Master said,
"Of course, though, you are Dafa disciples who made vows beforehand after all, and your lives co-exist with Dafa. With such an enormous Fa here, the Fa will be with you when your thoughts are righteous, and this is the greatest assurance."
After reading this sentence, I reflected on my path of validating the Fa in the past ten years. I realized that Master is always with us, taking care of us and helping us overcome tribulations.
Due to the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), I was once arrested and detained. My husband became afraid that I would be persecuted again and tried to limit my efforts to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. I was not moved by him and was able to break through with righteous thoughts.
In the winter of 2004, I went to a neighboring village to distribute truth-clarification materials with a fellow practitioner. When I returned home at around 2:00 a.m., I couldn't get inside my house because my husband purposely locked all the doors and windows. As a result, I had to sleep in the cold classroom of our family daycare business next to the master bedroom. At that time, the heat was turned off because it was during winter break. I found a shabby quilt from outside to keep myself warm and slept on the desk. Although it was very cold outside and I only had a thin quilt to use, I didn't feel cold at all, but rather slept very well and felt warm. I realized that Master was looking after his disciple. When I woke up, my eyes immediately teared up with gratitude.
If my husband had done the same thing to me before, I wouldn't have been able to control my xinxing or let the situation go. However, that day, I didn't handle it in the same way as I used to. Instead, I remembered what Master told us,
"Validate the Fa with rationality, clarify the truth with wisdom, spread the Fa and save people with mercy--this is establishing the mighty virtue of an Enlightened Being." ("Rationality", Essential for Further Advancement II)
"Compassion can harmonize Heaven and Earth, ushering in spring" ("The Fa Rectifies the Cosmos", Hong Yin II)
My husband is also someone who I should save, so I should help him understand the truth and not let him create karma for himself. He was brushing his teeth when I walked inside the house. I could tell that he was ready to argue with me. To his surprise though, I smiled at him. At that moment, I could tell that he was touched. He smiled back at me and asked in embarrassment, "Are you cold?" I replied, "What do you think? What can happen if someone stays in a cold room during the coldest winter day? I have been with you for 30 years. How could you treat me like this? I am a good wife and a good mother, not to mention, I was out doing something righteous. If you support me, you will accumulate virtue and will be blessed!" He felt bad and said that he would never do that again. I knew that Master had dissolved the bad substances in other dimensions. Since that incident, my husband does not interfere with me any more. Instead, whenever I go out to distribute truth-clarification materials, he would ask, "Are you coming back home tonight? If you do, I will keep the door unlocked." He understands the truth and has withdrawn from the CCP. He also often reads and watches Falun Gong related flyers and DVD. The ossein proliferation that he used to suffer from has disappeared.
One morning in the summer of 2009, to dry the corn faster, I transported over 330 pounds of corn from the shed to the concrete ground. Then I went to a neighboring village to pass out truth-clarification materials and tell people the facts about Falun Gong. At noon time, the weather suddenly changed and it became very dark and cloudy. At that time, I was about one and a half miles away from home. Remembering the corn, I quickly ran home. Although I am over sixty years old, I didn't have any problems running at all. In fact, as I was running, it felt like I was being pushed from behind. I could hear the thunder getting louder and the clouds were very low. However, the rain had not fallen yet. After I got home, I quickly shoveled all the corn back inside the storage shed. When I was almost done, a torrential downpour came down from the sky. I was very touched by Master's help.
The day before the 10th anniversary of the persecution of Falun Gong, I prepared some materials to distribute. Before going out, I was going to study the Fa first. However, I suddenly felt severe pain in my lower back and my husband had to help me get into bed. I couldn't turn my body or sit up. I then started to recite the Fa and poems from Hong Yin. I realized that it was persecution by the old forces, trying to prevent me from validating Dafa. I also sent forth righteous thoughts and didn't allow the evil to interfere. Master said in "Teaching the Fa at the 2004 Chicago Conference",
"Of course, we don't acknowledge any of the things that the old forces arranged--I as your master don't acknowledge them, and Dafa disciples of course don't acknowledge them either."
At around midnight, I was still in pain, but I decided to go out to validate the Fa. I slowly sat up and carefully got out of bed. Forbearing the pain, I took the truth-clarification materials and using the wall as support, I got out of the door. Not long after I left my house, the pain in my lower back disappeared. I was able to do anything that I needed to do and nothing was delayed.
When we walk our path righteously, Master can do anything for us. As particles of Dafa, our lives co-exist with the Fa. We should be more diligent, try our best to save more people, walk our last steps well and not to let Master down.
