(Clearwisdom.net) A new year is upon us and, we, a group of senior practitioners from the same Fa study group, hereby report to Teacher and fellow practitioners some experiences and understandings in clarifying the truth during the past three years.
We are a group of senior practitioners and our study group has been established for five years. Since there are so many of us, we divided into several smaller groups. My group has five members, mostly senior practitioners over 60 years of age. All the members of my group have persistently done the three things well, especially in truth-clarification; we are all able to go out to talk to people face-to-face and persuade people to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations. We studied Teacher's recent lectures and were very moved by them. Every sentence from Teacher is ingrained in our hearts, just like the words tattooed on Yue Fei's back by his mother. These lectures urge us to speed up our efforts to save people.
Our group first started to go to the market place at the end of 2007 to personally clarify the truth and persuade people to quit the CCP. First we paired up the practitioners who were skilled in truth-clarification with the practitioners who were less skilled. Later everyone became capable of going out and clarifying the truth on his or her own. We travel big streets and small alley ways to find places where people are gathered and we start talking to them. The characteristics of our truth-clarification are: "duan" (direct and brief), "ping" (peaceful) and "kuai" (fast). First of all we show the other party compassion, say a few words of greetings, then we ask them to disregard all the things ingrained in them when they raised their hands to join the CCP and affiliated organizations. We then tell them to remember "Falun Dafa is good"and "Truth-Compassion-Tolerance is good". If they thank us, we then ask them to quit the CCP using a nickname. If someone is unsure, we talk to them at length until they fully understand.
During the process, we have eliminated many attachments to fear. When we began to clarify the truth, we all had some fear: what if we were talking to a plainclothes police officer? We shuddered whenever we saw a police car. So we spent large amounts of time studying the Fa every day and we went out every day. It occurred to us that Teacher and all the guardian gods were with us, so our confidence was greatly boosted while the attachment of fear was eliminated bit by bit. The more we talked to people, the more courage we had. We had nothing on our minds but to save people. One practitioner said, "Sakyamuni asked his disciples to beg for food. We also go out to roam about to clarify the truth and save people. This is our mandatory course. If you do not go out to save people today, you do not have food for the day." As such, two of our fellow practitioners go out every day without fail.
One senior practitioner is particularly capable of enduring hardship. No matter how hot or cold it is, she is bound to go out every day. As long as we have the Fa in our hearts, we will want to save people, thus we will be able to talk to people under any circumstance. Sometimes an everyday person will come to us to ask for directions, and we will certainly not miss this opportunity to talk to the person. In fact, it is Teacher at work; we are only moving our mouths and bodies. This is also an opportunity given to us by Teacher to elevate our xinxing levels. We hope the practitioners who have not come out yet will step forward. Many people in this world are awaiting their salvation. Once you come out to clarify the truth, it is possible that Teacher will arrange people with predestined relationships with you to appear before you. If you don't believe it, you can give it a try.
While we were clarifying the truth to people we would also discover our own attachments. For example: the attachment to zealotry, showing off, the pursuit of quantity of people saved, as well as fear. Once these attachments surfaced, we would study the Fa and search for our loopholes, and extend the time for group Fa study. This is because, "The Fa can break all attachments, the Fa can destroy all evil, the Fa can shatter all lies, and the Fa can strengthen righteous thoughts." (Essentials for Further Advancement II, "Drive Out Interference") . As long as we have the Fa in our hearts, nothing can stop our momentum to save people.
