Mayor Praises Shen Yun Performing Arts: "Beautiful and Exceptional" as Show Debuts in Mississauga (Photo)

(Clearwisdom.net) "It's such a beautiful show!" exclaimed the Mayor of Mississauga, Hazel McCallion, at a VIP reception after seeing Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Living Arts Centre on Friday night.

"This show is exceptional and I am absolutely delighted as mayor that it is being held at the Living Arts Centre. The house is packed. Isn't that great?"

Mayor McCallion went on to say that New York-based Shen Yun is "a beautiful presentation."

"The performance is exceptional. It's precise, so well coordinated, as well as the beautiful colors. The costumes are just outstanding--very colorful but very gentle. What a great presentation. And having the opportunity for the Mississauga people to come and watch the show is exceptional."

Mayor McCallion said it was an honor to have Shen Yun play in Mississauga.

"What a treat! You know what is wonderful about the Chinese is that, when there is an event, they come out for it, and they really came out tonight. But more than Chinese came out. It's a very famous show, and a lot of people are showing up."

She thanked Shen Yun for choosing Mississauga and invited them back next year.

"Because The Living Arts Centre only holds 1,200 people, and we have 740,000 in Mississauga, so you can come back for many years, and give more of the population of Mississauga such an outstanding treat. It was wonderful! Everybody will leave the facility tonight inspired and will have beautiful thoughts as they go to bed tonight. Isn't that wonderful?"
