(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Soon, an investigator for the State of California, and his wife, who both studied the arts in college, made sure to see Shen Yun Performing Arts when it came to the Sacramento Community Center Theater on Monday, January 11, 2010.

The couple had wanted to see the show in San Francisco, but missed it. "I was in San Francisco during Christmas and we saw the advertisement. We wanted to see it in San Francisco but we didn't get a chance to. We found tickets here," Mr. Soon explained.

Mr. Soon was impressed with the show saying, "Oh, I love the show. I love the show. It's the first time and it's very unique and different. Very good, very good!"

He enjoyed every piece of the performance. "I liked every single one. Yes, I liked all of them."

His wife said, "It's beautiful, really beautiful. Stunning, and the costumes are gorgeous."

Mr. Soon was moved by the opening dance which set the scene for what was to come. He said, "Oh, when the show started out with the horses, it felt like it was coming to us."

Mr. Soon said that it was very good that the words of the songs were projected on the backdrop to help understand the meaning of the songs sung by the baritone and the soprano. "I liked the fact they had Chinese and English subtitles so you could understand the music too."

Mrs. Soon enjoyed the Tibetan dance which she described as beautiful. She also commented on the dance "Nothing Can Block the Divine Path" which she said made her cry. "The [dance with] mother and daughter made me cry. I was teary eyed," she said.

According to the program, in "Nothing Can Block the Divine Path," a mother and daughter who practice Falun Dafa exercises in a park are discovered by police. The police carry out orders to arrest and break the will of anyone who follows this peaceful spiritual discipline. Like millions of other Falun Dafa adherents in real life, they are brutalized. The mother is dragged to a detention center where she pays the ultimate price for trying to protect her daughter. This tragedy does not go unnoticed, however, as the heavens are watching.

Mr. Soon agreed with his wife saying, "Yes, that one. I had a feeling about that one. That one kind of makes your heart beat fast. That was good."

Mr. Luck, who is vice president of IT at a local business, had seen a glimpse of the show from a television advertisement, and knew he had to come.

"I love it, I love the costumes, I love the dancing, it is very, very good. Everything is wonderful. I think everybody should see it, everyone should come and see the performance!"

Mr. Luck said Shen Yun made him proud, "I'm a Chinese American. The show brings a lot of culture and I think everyone should see it."

Mr. Luck said that he would be definitely tell his friends about the show. "I would say that it is a show that you have to see and you have to come and experience it yourself."
