(Clearwisdom.net) (Correspondent from Guangdong Province) Practitioners Li Jinlan and Lin Kunru from Zhaoqing City, Guangdong Province were telling people the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong on August 18, 2009 in their hometown of Nanfeng Town, Fengkai County, Zhaoqing City when they were reported to the local authorities and arrested by policemen from the Nanfeng Town Police Station. They are currently detained at the Fengkai County Detention Center.
Ms. Li Jinlan, 55 years old, started practicing Falun Gong in May 1999. Prior to that, she suffered from autonomic nerve disorder. In the hot summer weather, although she was sweating profusely on her face, she had to wear a wool hat covered by a bigger cotton hat, a sweater, and a leather coat or cotton jacket, and cover her body in a cotton quilt. She had been suffering from the illness for over ten years and started to live without her cotton hat just three days after practicing Falun Gong. Soon afterward she did not need to wear a cotton or leather jacket any more. Three years later she was able to start living a normal life.
Ms. Li's son Lin Kunru just graduated from college.
