(Clearwisdom.net) Theatergoers in Greensboro, North Carolina, warmly responded as Shen Yun Performing Arts graced the stage of the War Memorial Auditorium on Friday September 4, 2009. Many audience members were visibly moved after seeing the New York-based company.

Dance instructor, Ms. Guiliano shared her experience, "It was absolutely amazing! I breathed along with the performers as they danced. It moved me!"
When the curtain opened she was instantly captivated. " I was taken aback by all of the colors and imagery that touched me through the music, the costuming, the props--everything. It was great."
She felt that seeing Shen Yun broadened her knowledge and understanding of traditional Chinese culture. "The tradition, the history--I feel lucky to have gotten this experience."
Ms. Guiliano appreciated seeing traditional Chinese culture showcased in Shen Yun performances. "Each one was so unique and special in its own way. They're so special. I loved the athleticism of the men and just the sheer grace and beauty of the women."
Describing her reaction upon seeing contemporary issues that are taking place in China, such as the persecution of Falun Gong, she said, "I was definitely moved to tears several times--joy, sadness. It was just beautiful and it really touched me."
Ms. Guiliano felt her students should also see Shen Yun, "I teach high school girls and I wish I could have brought each and every one of them tonight. Because it's hard to [breaking up a little with emotion] describe it to them--it's something that they would really experience a lot from [seeing] firsthand."
"It moved me. I have a four-year-old daughter and next year I'm going to bring her because she would absolutely enjoy every moment of it as well."
Dance Teacher Recommends Shen Yun to Students
Dance instructor Ms. Grubb, expressed her thoughts on the show, "I feel like I just watched an artistic masterpiece. It was graceful, it was beautiful, it's really a beautiful performance."
"Visually stunning," is how she felt about "The Udumbara's Bloom" dance. She was impressed by how the dancers used their fans in a way that really looked like flowers.
Ms. Grubb who teaches a variety of dance styles at a School of Dance in Greensboro and said she will tell her students "that they need to come watch this show because it's awesome!"
Next, Shen Yun Performing Arts will travel to Portland, Maine for two performances on September 19-20, 2009
