(Clearwisdom.net) When I logged onto the Minghui website, I saw the notice requesting articles for the Sixth Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Falun Gong Practitioners in China. I would like to share some of my understandings in this regard.

I started to write a cultivation experience sharing article for the Third Internet Experience Sharing Conference for Falun Gong Practitioners in China in 2006. Due to the fact that I had just been released from prison, my righteous thoughts were not strong because I had been interfered with by the evil. When I finished writing my article and was ready to send it in, I found out that the deadline had already passed. However, I still sent the article in. Because of my shallow understanding of the Fa principles and cultivation at that time, the quality of my article was poor.

I noticed early on the call for articles for the Fourth Internet Experience Sharing Conference in 2007. This time I eliminated different interferences and sent my article to Minghui on time. However, I did not receive any feedback. At that time, I thought that my cultivation state was not as good as that of many other practitioners, so it was only expected that my article was not used. Later, after I read and listened to other practitioners' articles in the Fourth Internet Conference, I realized that a big gap existed between me and those practitioners. Because of my participation, I paid close attention to those articles, which was very helpful to my cultivation and involvement in coordination work.

When the request for articles for the Fifth Internet Experience Sharing Conference in 2008 was posted, my cultivation state was better, and I made progress in validating the Fa, especially with regard to coordination and communication. I also gained much understanding in cultivation. I was very busy then and had many projects that needed coordination. Overcoming difficulties, I sent in my article to Minghui a day prior to the deadline. When it was time for Minghui to post the articles, however, I developed the attachment of pursuit and paid great attention to whether my article was published. One day I had a dream. In the dream, I was taking an exam. When the results of the exam were posted, all who had participated were given top marks. In the dream, I was puzzled why it was like this. After I woke up, I discussed it with my wife, and we came to understand that it was Master that had given me a hint and encouraged me by reminding me that as long we wholeheartedly participate in the event, we will all achieve good results. Whether an article is published or not is not the criterion for judging our improvement in this matter. Perhaps it was because my article was similar to others' that it was not published on Minghui. Perhaps this arrangement was used to expose my attachment and lack of understanding. It is also possible that my article's content was not significant enough for publication, or there could have been other reasons.

Today when I saw the notice requesting articles for this year's Internet conference, I recalled the First Internet Conference in Mainland China and how my cultivation state was not good at that time. A thought of being intimidated surfaced, and I did not know what to write, either. After I got onto the website and read the request for articles, all of my incorrect thoughts disappeared. I knew that I most certainly wanted to write something and participate in this spectacular and sacred Fa sharing conference in this special format at this special moment in history.

The previous three times when I wrote my experience sharing articles, I felt when I had finished that my body and soul had been purified and my confidence in cultivation had greatly increased. For a long time after I sent in my article, many of my bad and unworthy thoughts completely disappeared. I truly felt that "the process of writing down our cultivation experience and overcoming the difficulties related to sending the article to Minghui is also a cultivation process of ours." (from the notice requesting articles)

I share the above understandings in hopes that they can help fellow practitioners to actively participate in sending their articles to this Fa conference, thus improving their cultivation.
