(Clearwisdom.net) I awakened when I read Teacher's most recent lecture, "Fa Teaching Given at the Fa Conference Marking the Tenth Anniversary of the Minghui Website's Founding," and realized that the gods from the old universe made their arrangement because they did not understand the process of Fa-rectification. They did not know the unusual background of today's human beings and that most of them come from very high levels of the universe. These sentient beings came to this dangerous world because they knew the Fa would rectify the universe. The Fa-rectification, if it were to follow the old force arrangements, would result in the elimination of ninety percent of all sentient beings. This would be the cosmos' and mankind's most devastating disaster.
From this perspective, Dafa practitioners must clearly recognize the importance and necessity of saving sentient beings. Teacher asks us to save at least fifty percent of the world's people. Since the gods from the old cosmos only arranged for ten percent of sentient beings to be saved, we must break through the old force arrangements in the process of saving sentient beings. We need to save the rest. I understand better now why Teacher keeps extending the time. Teacher is so compassionate! So many sentient beings came here because of their faith in Fa-rectification, but they could forever lose their lives because of old force interference. How could we not have compassion for them? They are more pitiable than the practitioners that are being persecuted. No matter what happens, those practitioners will have a bright future and will consummate. But if sentient beings have their hearts against Dafa, then they cannot attain salvation, and everything will be over for them. Are they not worthy of pity? Should we not save them?
My understanding is that Teacher has arranged for seventy to eighty percent of the people to enter the future. This was mentioned in previous lectures. However, due to the interference and the destruction from the gods of the old universe and because Dafa practitioners' state of cultivation has not reached the required standard, we have not been able to save them. It is not that we cannot reach the standard Teacher has set, the key is how well Fa-rectification period Dafa practitioners do. We can save more lives if we do well. Therefore, we must see everything clearly, be aware of the interference from the gods of the old cosmos, follow Teacher's arrangement, and understand our mission here. Do not have attachments to time and to our personal notions. We must eliminate all interference and save sentient beings with compassion.
