Solemn Declaration
When I was incarcerated, the prison guards tortured me physically and tormented me mentally. They did not let me sleep for several days and nights. I wrote a guarantee statement when I was exhausted and in a confused state of mind. Nevertheless, this act was against my conscience, something that a Dafa disciple must never do. I realized my mistake after I returned home and studied the Fa, and I deeply regret writing the statement. I hereby announce that everything that I have said and done against Dafa is completely void. I will walk the path that Master has arranged for me and resolutely cultivate Dafa until the end.

I was arrested on March 15, 2002. At the time, someone at home was sick and needed my care, so I wrote a "guarantee statement" that said, "I will not go to Beijing, and I will not practice Falun Gong." This was written under coercion and against my will.
I did not study the Fa well and did not regard myself as a true cultivator. I had terrible fears and heavy attachments to human emotions; therefore, the evil took advantage of my gaps. My behavior brought shame to Falun Dafa, and it is also my shame. Cultivation is serious; I hereby announce that everything I have said and done against Dafa is completely void. From now on I will diligently study the Fa, do the three things well, take solid steps on the final journey, and redouble my efforts in making up for my mistakes. I will resolutely cultivate Dafa until the end.
