(Clearwisdom.net) The director of a drug rehabilitation center in Liaoning Province went to Hong Kong for a business trip recently. He found out that all Falun Gong activities were legal and were held in public in Hong Kong. Dafa practitioners distribute the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and Falun Gong flyers, and urge people to renounce their membership in the Chinese Communist Party, the Chinese Communist Youth League and the Young Pioneers. They spread Dafa, demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises and organize parades. All these activities are protected by the local law.
The director was shocked. Upon returning to the rehab center, he told others, "Oh! The CCP is the only one [in the world] to suppress Falun Gong!" His words spread throughout the rehab center and people were shocked. Those who learned about this all felt cheated by the Chinese communist regime.
A policewoman in the rehab center said with anger, "Jiang Zemin is really mean! He ordered us to persecute Falun Gong and made us accumulate huge sins.
At first, we thought the government was doing the right thing to suppress Falun Gong. Later many Falun Gong practitioners were detained in the rehab center. There have been about 1,600 to 1,700 of them. After we get to know them, we find out they are all good people."
After the policewoman understood the truth of Falun Gong, she did her best to help and protect Dafa practitioners. She personally called the director of a police station once, when a Dafa practitioner was detained there. The practitioner was then released that night.
