(Clearwisdom.net) (Correspondent from Jilin Province) On the afternoon of August 12, 2009, while she was explaining the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, Ms. Cheng Xiuhua, in her 60s, was reported and arrested near the Qianguo County Stadium in Songyuan City, Jilin Province. Police officers detained her at the Songyang City Detention Center and searched her and subsequently her home.
During her detention, guards ordered Ms. Cheng to sleep on the floor instead of a bed. A female guard grabbed steamed rolls and steamed buns from Ms. Cheng and threw them away. The guard deprived her of both food and water and berated her loudly. The guard insulted her daily and threatened her with a heavy sentence. It became such a tremendous spiritual burden to Ms. Cheng that she once wet her pants.
Ms. Cheng has not eaten for several days. She trembles in fear as soon as she sees a guard. She is too weak to walk. When her family members went to the detention center, the guards refused to let them visit her. At the same time, the guards pressured the family and threatened to give Ms. Cheng a heavy sentence.
Before practicing Falun Dafa, Ms. Cheng used to have many health problems, such as severe heart disease, high blood pressure, and gynecological problems. She became healthy and willing to help others after she began to practice.
