(Clearwisdom.net) When I first watched the story of Ji Gong's "Bride Theft", my interest was because it perfectly combined dance, music, costumes and set into "One-body". It contained powerful energy that also showed multiple layers of esthetics. After watching it several times, I became aware that the deep meaning of the program is telling practitioners to seize every opportunity to save sentient beings.
The lively and happy scenes that were presented on stage are just a tale of celebrating the marriage between two rich families but, in reality, it is not much different than the life we are living in today's society. When human beings cling to delusion and focus on pursuing their happiness only in the materialistic sense, they won't know that catastrophes are near. When people spend so much time and effort chasing after good times, wealth, and fame; their own values are diluted. Therefore, practitioners usually have a very difficult time clarifying the truth about the persecution. In past years, we have been clarifying the truth to clear up misconceptions about Falun Gong. While some people believed instantly, others would not listen regardless of what we said. In doing the truth clarification, Dafa disciples manifested much of their wisdom for saving sentient beings and many miracles happened. However, in this last stage of the Fa ratification period, many people had already read and heard the truth about the persecution but still are not willing to accept Falun Dafa. In this critical moment, some practitioners have started to hesitate and some have even give up trying to save such sentient beings. But when our prehistorical vows were remembered that were made along with the hopes that Teacher has for saving sentient beings, a kind of excited remorse spontaneously arose.
The plot of Ji Gong's "Bride Theft" was arranged in history for today's Dafa practitioners to use to save sentient beings. It's also a method to be used to assist Teacher in promoting the Fa, bring salvation to all living things and generate mighty virtue for practitioners. In all these years of trying to save sentient beings, we have had encounters with many difficult people. But no matter what, we cannot give up on them. Not only do we need to treat them with compassionate thoughts, we must eliminate the unceasingly evil factors that operate behind them. We must maintain our "Yes, they can be saved" righteous thoughts. At the same time, we should use our wisdom and adopt some common people's intelligence and effectively bring salvation to the world's people, as Ji Gong did. Even though most people don't realize yet why we do what we are doing today, so long as we persist with our efforts for the salvation of others, when the truth reveals itself, they will understand. That is, "the enthusiasm to save others" cannot slow down. Sometimes I feel that practitioners' cultivation practice has reached a more mature stage whether from their better understanding of the Fa or eliminating their attachments and being able to lay down oneself to harmonize into a one body. I can see this condition from practitioners around me. Teacher said: "The evil is finished and the environment has changed" ("Greetings") A more relaxed environment for cultivation practice and for clearing up misconceptions about Falun Gong is silently and gradually appearing around us. The main focus for practitioners is to urgently save sentient beings.
