(Clearwisdom.net) Case 1: Personnel at the Taiyu Women's Forced Labor Camp added unknown drugs to the food given to practitioner Zhong Donglan, which caused her to display symptoms of mental illness.

Ms. Zhong Donglan, 42, is a resident from Wuping County, Fujian Province. On August 15, 2007, she was arrested by personnel from the Wuping National Security Team and taken to the Taiyu Women's Forced Labor Camp in Fujian Province. In September 2008, lawless policemen ordered Zhong's family members to pick her up. At that point in time, she had already become mentally ill due to the mistreatment.

According to witnesses, personnel at the forced labor camp mixed a unknown drug in powder form into Zhong's food. This drug causes one's teeth to loosen, causes mental disorders and weakens one's body. The sources also said that when Zhong became mentally ill, guards sent her to the mental hospital for further abuse.

Zhong Donglan's brother Zhong Wensheng and her sister Zhong Xiaolan persisted in cultivation. Thus they were illegally locked up in the Longyan Prison and Taiyu Forced Labor Camp, respectively, where they were being mistreated.

Case 2: Extending Prison Terms Continuously to Persecute Practitioners

The personnel in Fujian Province Women's Forced Labor Camp severely persecuted practitioners who were illegally incarcerated. They also increased their imprisonment terms continuously. Officials at the forced labor camp had extended the term of practitioner Xue Zhaohui several times. In early May, Xue's term was extended once again. On May 9, her parents went to the labor camp to protest against the criminal ways of this camp. They demanded an unconditional immediate release of Xue Zhaohui.

Team leader Chen, who specializes in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners, along with Jiang Guilian, the deputy head of the camp, persecute practitioners hoping to get promotions and monetary rewards. On January 1, 2009, camp officials started to rampantly extend the terms of practitioners.

The persecutors used the following as an excuse for the term extensions: If practitioners do not cooperate, do not take part in the activities for prisoners, then for each day this occurred, their imprisonment terms were extended by one day. Also those who refuse to wear the prison uniform, don't participate in the marches, and refuse to watch the videos that defame Falun Gong, etc. receive demerit points and their imprisonment terms are extended. The longest extension was one year, which meant that a one-year imprisonment actually became two years. Those who were given two years of imprisonment were extended to three years.

Practitioner Xue Zhaohui's term was extended 133 days. She was scheduled to be released around mid-April, but she is still being detained. This is because they used this method of "extending imprisonment terms continuously."
