(Clearwisdom.net) On May 23, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Vancouver were invited to participate in the annual Hyack Festival in the city of New Westminster, British Columbia. The Falun Gong procession was the longest in the parade and was composed of a traditional costume team, fairy dancer team, Falun Gong exercise demonstration team, waist drum team and a float. When the procession passed by, spectators applauded enthusiastically. Many people requested Falun Gong information. More than three thousand flyers were distributed along the parade route.
