On March 10, 2009, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wang Yueqin from Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province was arrested as she walked to work. She was sentenced to 18 months of forced labor. Her ill mother and son, who goes to primary school, are left without her care.

On the morning of March 10, Ms. Wang was arrested on her way to work. Police officers confiscated her house key after searching her. Then they used the key to open her front door and searched her home. Political instructor Zhang Jianqing; officers Gao Zhenli, Lu Weu, and Liang Shuanping from the Dongli Police Station; police officer Ding Wenshan; and people from the local community management committee participated in the search, which ended up in vain. They took Teacher's portraits and two copies of Dafa books. They also took pictures of envelopes for mailing DVDs. At that time, Ms. Wang's mother-in-law, who has high blood pressure, was at home, and police officers flashed a search warrant in front of her face briefly, without letting her see it clearly.

On March 24, police officers told her family that she had been transferred to the Women's Forced Labor Camp in Hebei Province for an 18-month term. Police officers who dealt with her case said that it was because Ms. Wang was handing out truth-clarification materials in the underground garage of the Qiaoxi District's Industrial and Commercial Bank on February 10. They also said that they had as evidence a video-recording that showed her holding a Shen Yun DVD and a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. People from the Qixi Domestic Security Brigade and Dongli Police Station have kept stressing that they were just following orders from their supervisors. The fact that they were saying this implies that they knew that what they were doing was against the law.

With Ms. Wang being arrested and taken to the forced labor camp, her family was hit very hard. Due to the fact that her husband is frequently on business trips and goes out of town, it is her job to take care of the other family members. Now her eleven-year-old son keeps asking, "Why is Mom not coming back?" Her mother-in-law, who has high blood pressure and problems with her legs, has difficulty walking up and down the steps to the sixth floor where they live. Her father was recently discharged from the hospital, where he was hospitalized for myocardial infarction, and her mother has been ill for a long time. They all rely on Ms. Wang and await her return.

Ms. Wang, who is 39 years old, is a college graduate. Since she began to practice Falun Gong in 1995, she has lived according to the requirements of Dafa and tried to be a good person. Her character improved as a result. She became very healthy and happy, and has benefited a great deal from Falun Dafa. Since July 20, 1999, when the Jiang regime and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) began the persecution of Falun Gong, Ms. Wang has been arrested and detained three times by local police.
