On January 20, 2009, Mr. Qi Shuangyuan was taken to the concentration training team of the Lianjiangkou Prison in Jiamusi City from the Hongxinglong Detention Center.

2. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Caihong Released the Night of Her Arrest

At 9 a.m. on March 4, 2009, Ms. Zhao Caihong was doing household chores when more than ten police officers from the State Security Division under the Yanqing County Police Department, led by Jiang Shuliang, broke into her home. They searched her home without following any procedure and seized her laptop computer and printer. She was taken to the Yanqing County Detention Center. Her family requested her release, and at 7:30 p.m. the same day, she was released and returned home.

3. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Recent Persecution Cases: Ms. Ding Lu, Ms. Xu Lihong, and Mr. Ding Nan

Around March 11, 2009, Ms. Ding Lu's family noticed that she had not return home late that night and a computer, a printer, a personal stereo, and 3000 "yuan" cash were missing, so they went to the Nanshidao Street Police Station to inquire about her and learned that she was arrested for distributing Falun Gong fliers and her home was searched. They still do not know where she is detained. She had been detained in the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp for several years and suffered mistreatment before.

Ms. Xu Lihong set up a stall on Xiuyue Street in Zhongshan District to sell magazines. She was reported to police and arrested for placing an introduction of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party in some magazines.

Mr. Ding Nan from Dalian City was sentenced to three years of imprisonment.

4. [Tianjin] Ms. Wang Jinyan Arrested and Detained

Ms. Wang Jinyan lives in Cuilou Village, Hexiwu Town, Wuqing District, Tianjin. On March 6, 2009, she was arrested by police officers from the Hexiwu Town Police Station and detained in the Wuqing District Detention Center.

5. [Shanghai] Mr. Hu Linggen Beaten and Arrested

Around 10 a.m. on February 17, 2009, when Mr. Hu Linggen, a practitioner living in the Fengcheng Third Community, was buying breakfast, four police officers attacked him and punched his temples. Then they forcibly dragged him into the police car. Mr. Hu shouted out, "Falun Dafa is good!" and the people around came up to question them. They showed their 803 IDs from the Shaihai City Police Department and drove away forcefully. Mr. Hu's home was searched.

6. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Liu Xingwu Arrested

Mr. Liu Xingwu is a practitioner in Mazhuang Village, Hualong Town, Shouguang City. On March 1, 2009, he was doing construction work in another village when he was taken to the Shouguang City Party School by police officers from the Hualong Town Police Station.

In the fall of 2005, he was tortured at the Shouguang City Police Department for refusing to renounce his faith. Later, he was taken to the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp, where he was detained for three years and suffered inhuman mistreatment. He was released in October 2008. He has been arrested and detained again.

7. [Hebei Province] Ms. Chai Jinxia Brutally Abused in Shijiazhuang City Women's Prison

At 8 p.m. on January 8, 2009, Ms. Chai Jinxia, who had been detained in the Shijiazhuang City Women's Prison, did not get out of bed for role call. As a result, guard Wu Hongxia (female) made life miserable for her, but Ms. Cai did not compromise. She shouted "Falun Dafa is good" twice, and Wu Hongxia slapped her face twice and hit her face with an electric baton more than ten times. Consequently, Ms. Cai suffered a head injury and started bleeding. Wu Gongxia still fiercely hit her on the back and neck dozens of times until her face, neck, and back became black and blue. Finally, Wu Hongxia handcuffed her and hung her on the door railing. She was in the cold wind the whole night. At 10 a.m. the next day, she was locked in a small cell, where she was not allowed to wear underwear, and instead just wore a cotton-padded jacket without buttons. She was prohibited from washing her face or brushing her teeth. She could not use any hot water and had only a half a bowl of cold water to use each time she washed up. There was no bed in the cell, so she slept on the cement floor. Two weeks later, on January 29, 2009, she was subjected to brainwashing in which she was under pressure to "reform."

Ms. Liu Sulan and Ms. Li Meiying, practitioners from Xinxiang City, were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong when they were arrested by Zhang Weili, a police officer from the Nanhuan Road Police Station. They are detained in the Xinxiang City Detention Center.

On July 27, 2008, Mr. Yao Hongwen from Yuyao City was arrested. He has been holding a hunger strike for seven months and his situation is critical. At present, he is detained in the Ningbo City Detention Center.

Mr. Wang Weidong lived in Yanglei Township, Wen County, Jiaozuo City. On January 8, 2009, he was arrested at home by the police. Mr. Wang Wanying and his son Mr. Wang Xiaobing from Qiancuizhuang Village, Huangzhuang Township and Mr. Wu Baoyi were also arrested. Their property was seized. Mr. Wu Baoyi and Mr. Wang Xiaobing were released. Mr. Wang Weidong and Mr. Wang Wanying are still detained in Wen County Detention Center.

13. [Kaifeng City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhu Zhihong Arrested

Ms. Zhu Zhihong is a teacher at the elementary school affiliated with the Second Normal University in Kaifeng City. About one week ago, she was arrested at her workplace by police officers from the State Security Division under the Longting District Police Department and the Wuchaomen Police Station. Her whereabouts are unknown. Her five-year-old daughter is living with her elderly grandmother.

14. [Anshun City, Guizhou Province] Supplementary Information about Ms. Guo Yongxian

Ms. Guo Yongxian, 60, was arrested by police officers from the State Security Division under the Xixiu District Police Department on March 2, 2009. His home was searched the same night, and his laptop computer, a set of Falun Dafa lecture tapes and a set of exercise music tapes were seized. She is detained in the Anshun City No. 1 Detention Center. Her family members have gone to visit her several times but have been denied the right to see her.

15. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province ] 60-year-old Ms. Ye Mingfeng Arrested and Monitored After Release

Ms. Ye Mingfeng is in her sixties. On March 8, 2009, she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Shenfang City when her truth-clarifying materials were seized, and she was taken to the local police station. Later, she was brought back to Guanghan City by police officers from Guanghan City, where her family picked her up. After she returned home, her workplace dispatched two security guards to monitor her, claiming that she would be left alone only after the CCP's Two Conferences.

16. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Song Xianhua Deceived into Going to Taojialing Brainwashing Center

After 9 a.m. on March 9, 2009, Long Heming, a police officer from Erqiao Police Station in Hanyang District came to 70-year-old Ms. Song Xianhua's home. He first pretended to be there to check her permanent residence registration, then he claimed that somebody wanted to speak to her. In this manner, she was deceived into going to the Taojialing Brainwashing Center and detained there. Many practitioners in Wuhan City have been arrested by police officers from the First Division of the Wuhan City Police Department.

17. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Mr. Shan Baipei Sentenced to Imprisonment

Mr. Shan Baipei from Yueyang City was sentenced to three years of imprisonment by the Yueyang City Court. On March 10, 2008, he was taken to Jinshi City Prison.

18. [Jiedong County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Liu Wenxian and Ms. Chen Maoying Arrested

At night on March 9, 2009, Ms. Liu Wenxian and Ms. Chen Maoying were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution in Nageshi Community, Dongshan District, Jieyang City when they were reported to the police. They were arrested by officers from the Dongyang Police Station. The next day, the police searched their homes. It is unknown where they are being detained.

19.[Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province] Supplementary Information on Ms. Pan Chengying's Arrest

On March 4, 2009, Ms. Pan Chengying, a teacher at the No. 1 Middle School in Lishui County, Nanjing City, was teaching when she was arrested by police officers from the State Security Division and 610 Office in Lishui County. Later, her home was searched.

Ms. Pan Chengying is 35 years old now. Her husband is doing business in another city. Her son is in elementary school. She was taken to a brainwashing center and subjected to mistreatment for clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution on the Internet in August 2007.

21. [Jianshi County, Hubei Province] Mr. Liao Shengjun Arrested

On March 13, 2009, Mr. Liao Shengjun was subpoenaed and detained by police officers from the local State Security Division. They searched the cell phone store he owned and seized Dafa materials, his computer, his mobile hard drive, and his cell phone. His home was also searched, and his computer and some Dafa materials were seized.

He appealed for the right to practice Falun Gong twice before. Consequently, he was detained for more than one month the first time time and sentenced to three years of forced labor the second time.

22. [Jiaohe City, Jilin Province] Mr. Zhang Wei Detained in Jiaohe City Detention Center

On the morning of March 9, 2009, three police officers broke into Mr. Zhang Wei's store and arrested him. He refused to cooperate with the evil, so the police officers had to call in three police cars to help. Finally, Mr. Zhang was taken away. Afterwards, the police searched his store and home. Presently, he is detained in Jiaohe City Detention Center.

Ms. Zhu Ming, 47, was arrested at her workplace on March 9, 2009 by police. She is detained in the Yaojia Detention Center.

24. [Anshan City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Li Ruigang Unlawfully Tried in Court

Mr. Li Ruigang is detained in the Liaoyang City First Detention Center. He has been holding a hunger strike to protest the persecution and has become extremely weak. However, the authorities of the local 610 Office have rejected his family's request for bail. Mr. Li suffered brutal force-feeding. He was brought to court at the beginning of March 2009.

28. [Tanghai County, Hebei Province] Persecution Ms. Yang Yanzhi and Other Practitioners Have Suffered

At 11 a.m. on February 26, 2009, Li Fuguo and Sun Jingsun, from the State Security Division under the Tanghai County Police Department, as well as Dong Dejin, the CCP secretary at the No. 9 Farm, searched practitioner Ms. Yang Yanzhi's home there. She was arrested and detained in the Tangshan City Detention Center.

At around 10 a.m. on March 7, 2009, Li Fuguo, Sun Jingsen, and Dong Dejin broke into Ms. Feng Lichun's home at the No. 5 Farm, attempting to harm her, but they were stopped by Ms. Feng.

On March 9, 2009, Mr. Liu Lianhao from Tanghai Town, who is in his forties, was working in the Tanghai County Hospital when he was arrested by three plainclothes officers. His whereabouts are unknown.

On March 9, 2009, police officers from the State Security Division under the Tanghai County Police Department harassed Mr. Zhao Shuixin. a teacher at the No. 1 Tanghai County High School, at his home.

Ms. Wang Shulan, around 50 years old, went to the Changqing Police Station to fill out paperwork for an ID card two months ago. The police officers voided her paperwork because she is a Falun Gong practitioner. They submitted her residence booklet and other documents to the Chengzihe State Security Division.

At 6:30 a.m. on March 11, 2009, she was arrested at home by police. It is unknown where she is being detained.

Ms. Liu Cuixiang lives in Songjia Village, Lingzi Town, Zichuan District, Zibo City. She was sentenced to one year and three months of forced labor. She is detained in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp.

33. [Hubei Province] Persecution Facts in Zaoyang City

At 7 p.m. on March 5, 2009, under the scheme of the local 610 Office, the Zaoyang City Police Department and police stations dispatched many police officers to search local practitioners' homes on a large scale. Mr. Zhang Mingqi was arrested, and his whereabouts are still unknown. Practitioners whose homes were searched include Mr. Long Fengqing, Ms. Shi Yan, Ms. Li Shunhui, Ms. Jia Zhengmei, Mr. Wang Daliang, Ms. Han Xiuying, Mr. Ye Chenggui, Ms. Wang Kailan, Mr. Wang Yaqi, Ms. Wang Damin, and the parents of Ms. Shi Yan.

The main purpose of this raid was to find and confiscate practitioners' computers. Some practitioners' computers, which are also for their children's school work, were seized.

34. [Zhijiang City, Hubei Province] Supplementary Information on Ms. Yao Yuqing's Arrest

The authorities of the Hubei Province 610 Office plotted to set up a brainwashing class in the Wuhan City Police Officer Training College. Ms. Yao Yuqing from Zhijiang City is detained in the brainwashing class.

35. [Guan County, Shandong Province] 67-year-old Female Practitioner Arrested

Mr. Zhang Bao's wife, 67, lives in Sanlizhuang Village, Guancheng Town, Guan County. On March 7, 2009, Meng Yu, director of the Chengguang Police Station in Guancheng Town, leading some police officers, suddenly broke into her home. She was arrested and taken to the Guan County Detention Center. Her Dafa books and materials were seized. Her family requested her release, and the police officers claimed that if her family paid 1,000 yuan, she would be released after 15 days of detention.

Ms. Wang Yuzhen lives in Huangshan Community, Longtan District, Jilin City. On the afternoon of March 10, 2009, she was arrested by police officers from the Tiedong Police Station while she was clarifying the truth about Falun Gong on the street.

37. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

At night on March 9, 2009, Ms. Li Jinhua and an elderly Ms. Fang were arrested while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials in the Hanjia Community in the Development Zone.

38. [Kunming City, Yunnan Province] Ms. Ye Meizhen and Ms. Guo Lin Arrested Again

Ms. Ye Meizhen is a retired employee of the Kunming City East Railway Station. Ms. Guo Lin is a practitioner who is disabled. They were both released from the Yunnan Province No. 2 Prison half a year ago. Before that, they had been detained for six years in the prison. In February 2009, they were arrested by police officers from Yaoan County, and they have been detained in the Yao'an County Detention Center.

39. [Baoji City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Qin Lijie Detained in Baoji County Detention Center

On April 20, 2008, Ms. Qin Lijie from Baoji City was arrested by police officers from the Jintai District Police Department and the Dianzi Street Police Station. The officers seized 9,700 yuan cash from her home. She is detained in the Baoji County Detention Center. The guards have prohibited her family from visiting her.

40. [Chongqing City] Two Practitioners Arrested While Clarifying the Truth about Falun Gong in Guanyingqiao Community, Jiangbei District

On March 10, 2009, two practitioners practitioners were clarifying the truth about Falun Gong and exposing the persecution in Guanyingqiao Community, Jiangbei District when they were followed to the entrance of Chongqing City Police Department by two plainclothes officers. They were arrested, and they are detained in the Yuzui Detention Center in Jiangbei District.

41. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Chen Xiumei Arrested

On March 8, 2009, Chen Jun, director of the Chikan District 610 Office, searched Ms. Chen Xiumei's home and seized a copy of Zhuan Falun. She was not at home then. The next morning, Chen Jun came again to interrogate her about where the book came from. She was arrested and taken to the Zhanjiang City Legal System School (brainwashing center).
