Now it's close to the end of the Fa-rectification. We can't waste even a minute when saving sentient beings. Meanwhile, Teacher has higher requirements for Dafa practitioners, that our xinxing should be more pure. Each and every word and thought of ours can have an impact on whether a celestial body and the sentient beings can be saved or not.
Here I'd like to share my experience and understandings on how I removed the degenerated notion of "we need to first protect ourselves," which originated from the old cosmos during my validating the Fa.
One day, I paid a visit to my neighbors' home to clarify the truth and help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates. I explained to them what Falun Dafa is based on my own cultivation experience. I told them how Truth, Compassion, Forbearance made me a better person and improved my health. The wife enjoyed the topics very much. While talking to them, I took out a truth-clarification flier and gave it to the wife. The husband was upset and said, "How dare you! Are you not afraid that I could report on you?"
Afterwards, I was a little frustrated and thought, "I was trying my best to save you. Yet you wanted to report on me. You are nothing to me now." Just then, I realized, "Isn't that what the evil wanted? I would push him to my opposite side if I treat him like that. I am a righteous divine being. I should be completely compassionate. My efforts to save sentient beings are unconditional. This is the xinxing of a divine being." The selfish degenerated notion was eliminated. The cosmos in other dimensions was rectified.
Later, I read another Dafa flier which addressed some of the husband's attachments. I was going to take the flier to him. Just then, a thought came to me, "Would he report me?" Right away, I eliminated that unrighteous thought. I am a divine being as tall as the sky with flames radiating out. It is my responsibility to save sentient beings. My dimensions should be the most righteous environment with no evil elements. With a pure heart, I took the materials to their home.
One day, I went to distribute Dafa materials in a nearby community. When I stepped out of our apartment building, I saw a few people chatting at the next building. A thought came up, "Would someone who hasn't learned the truth notice my doing this?" I immediately realized that was a selfish thought. I kept walking while sending forth righteous thoughts, "I safeguard the firmament. I'm here to save people. All the materials that I'll distribute carry the Fa-rectification power. It emits pure flames. Therefore, even those who see me doing this could be saved. All the sentient beings are here for the Fa. They should cooperate with me. This is a divine being's righteous thought." I told myself, "You need to completely deny this attachment of fear and completely remove it."
In Fa-rectification cultivation, I feel the notion that "We need to first protect ourselves well" is a strong barrier set up by the old forces in order for them to interfere with the Fa-rectification. It's not a very obvious notion, and therefore it might not get caught very easily. It hides in many ways to make us fight for ourselves, show off, or believe we are always right. It's a mixture of various selfish attachments. Therefore, during our cultivation, we need to base ourselves on the Fa and position ourselves correctly. In other words, we need to require ourselves to act as Fa-rectification disciples would act. Otherwise, without strong righteous thoughts, we won't be able to see through this notion. We could even take that notion as our own thoughts. When that happens, we are stuck in ordinary people's notions. Actually, all the attachments originate from the old forces. If we follow our attachments, we'll be recognizing the arrangements of the old forces.
This notion exists on many levels, and so we really need to watch our thoughts. When such a thought does come out, we should look at it with righteous thoughts. It's purpose is to interfere with Fa-rectification. We need to use the righteous Fa principles to eliminate it. We should first deny this notion. Then we need to eliminate it. After that, we need to look inside to see where it comes from, so we can rectify ourselves using the Fa requirements. In order to do this, we should always remember that we are here to validate the Fa and save sentient beings. After we improve our xinxing levels, we'll see better results when doing those three matters. We'll feel it's really divine beings validating the Fa. We are responsible for all the positive elements in the cosmos. With immense compassion and kindness, we will be able to smile at each and every sentient being. There are always people smiling at me, at the farmers' market, on the bus, or while I am walking. Some of them are people that I helped quit the CCP. The others, I don't really know. However, they said hello to me first, which made it easier for me to start a conversation with them and then help them quit the CCP. It might be because gods are validating the Fa in the ordinary people's world.
