1. [Huaian County, Hebei Province] Ms. Liu Cuilan Arrested
On the morning of February 28, 2009, Ms. Liu Cuilan from Caigoubao Town, Huaian County, was taken away from her home by police from the Caigoubao Police Station. Currently, she is being detained in the Qiantun Detention Center in Zhangjiakou City.
2. [Huaian County, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Chunlian and Ms. Yan Xiuying Sent to Prison and Forced Labor Camp
On the afternoon of June 23, 2008, Zhang Bin, Head of the Caigoubao Police Station, led police to arrest Ms. Li Chunlian and Ms. Yan Xiuying, who are about 60 years old. Ms. Li was sentenced to four years in prison and is being detained in the Shijiazhuang Women's Prison; Ms. Yan was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp and she is being detained in the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

3. [Qixia, Shandong Province] Ms. Liu Xiangrong Sent to a Brainwashing Center
On the night of February 27, 2009, Ms. Liu Xiangrong was arrested by police from the Cuiping Police Station. Her home was also ransacked. On February 28, 2009, she was sent to the Zhaoyuan Brainwashing Center but she was sent back because her health condition did not meet requirements.

4. [Chaoyang County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Qian Jilan Arrested
At 3 p.m. on March 2, 2009, police from the Chaoyang County Police Department went to Nanlihao Village, Liucheng Town and took Ms. Qian Jilan away. Now she is being detained in the Chaoyang County Detention Center.
5. [Hebi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yan Xiuzhen Arrested
During the first ten days of January 2009, Ms. Yan Xiuzhen from Shancheng District, Hebi City explained the facts about Falun Gong to the police who had persecuted her before at the Shancheng Branch of the Hebi Police Department. She was taken away by personnel from the 610 Office and the Politics and Law Committee of Hebi City. Her home was also ransacked. Now she is being detained in the Hebi City First Detention Center.

At 3:30 p.m. on February 27, 2009, Ms. Mei Yuping was arrested on a bus by the Jinyun County 610 Office and the Huzhen Town Police Station while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong and advising people to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Her home was also ransacked. The police took away a computer, CDs about Falun Gong and Dafa books, etc.

7. [Ningxia Province] Mr. Yi Ning's Mother Passed Away as a Result of Persecution
Mr. Yi Ning was a former section head of the Ningxia Human Resources Bureau. On September 12, 2008, he was arrested. He has been detained in the Yinchuan Detention Center of Ningxia Province. His family members were not allowed to visit him. Both of his parents are about 80 years old. They personally went to Beijing to find a lawyer to defend Mr. Yi Ning, however, the court refused their request.
After being on the run for a long time and under the huge mental pressure, Mr. Yi Ning's mother, Ms. Lu Canhua, suddenly fell down and then passed away on February 27, 2009.

9. [Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Shu Juan Arrested Again
At 4:30 p.m. on February 26, 2009, Ms. Shu Juan (about 60 years old) was reported to police while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong. She was taken away by Wan Guohua and other policemen from the Hongdu Police Station of Nanchang City. Before this arrest, Ms. Shu Juan had been detained in prison for eight years.
10. [Suining City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Yang Zefang Detained in the Yongxing Detention Center
Ms. Yang Zefang, 60, is a retired teacher. On February 25, 2009, she and Ms. Wang Honglian were arrested by the Beimen Police Station and the Chuanshan Police Sub-bureau while they were explaining the facts about Falun Gong at the Chuanzhong Market in Suining City.

On the night of February 24, 2009, police from the Luohe City 610 Office, the Huiyuan District Police Sub-bureau, the Ganhechen Police Station and the Yanzhuang Village Guard Team, broke into the homes of four Falun Dafa practitioners in Yanzhuang Village. They took away Mr. Zhang Furong, Mr. Zheng Jianmin, Ms. Tang Sizhi and her husband.

In November 2008, the Meihekou Security Bureau led police from the Jiefang Police Station and suddenly broke into the home of Ms. Nan Zhaozi. They ransacked her home and took away Dafa books, fliers about Falun Dafa and paper currency with truth-clarification messages printed on it, etc.

14. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Lulin and Mr. Chu Dianwen Arrested
On February 26, 2009, Mr. Li Lulin and Mr. Chu Dianwen from Nanli Village, Tuanwang Town, Laiyang City went to Dongzhangzhuang Village to distribute fliers about Falun Dafa. They were reported and arrested by police from the City National Security Team and the 610 Office.

15. [Suizhou City, Hubei Province] Persecution of Ms. Li Yun and Ms. Zhang Ling
Ms. Li Yun, 28, and Ms. Zhang Ling were arrested by police on April 8, 2008. They have been detained in the Suizhou First Detention Center. Now, Ms. Zhang Ling is very weak as a result of persecution. She needs to be carried in and out.
16. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Lu Hanmei Arrested
On February 25, 2009, Ms. Lu Hanmei was spotted by someone on patrol while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong. She was arrested by the Gebu Police Station of Fushun City and is now being detained in the Nangou Detention Center in Fushun City.
17. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Song Shuyan Arrested
On November 14, 2008, Ms. Song Shuyan was arrested by the Xigang District Police Sub-bureau and the National Security Team. Her home was also searched. Now she is being detained in the Yaojia Detention Center in Dalian City.
18. [Chongqing City] Ms. Wang Yi (about 50 years old) from Yuzhong District Arrested on March 1, 2009
19. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zeng Ning Arrested and Persecuted
In December 2009, Ms. Zeng Ning (about 40 years old), was arrested while she was explaining the facts about Falun Gong. Later on, she was sent to the Chongqing City Mental Hospital in her hometown.
20. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] More Than Ten Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested
At noon on March 1, 2009, the Shenzhou Police Department arrested more than ten Falun Dafa practitioners at the Xiuxian Plaza, which is located at Changjiang Road. Practitioners included Ms. Liu Yanli, Ms. Xiaofang, Mr. Liu Qi, Ms. Xie Xiuwen, Mr. Zhang Ruifeng, Ms. Liu Landuo, Ms. Dajuan, Ms. Xiaomei, Mr. Wen Jingpeng, Ms. Xiaocha and Ms. Rui Jing. Ms. Rui Jing was released later. Ms. Huan Zhun was taken away from her home on February 28, 2009. Now they are being detained in the Shenzhou Detention Center.

22. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Chen Wanying Arrested
On March 2, 2009, Yang Haitao and about ten policemen from the Luobao Township Police Station of Dingxing County went to ransack the home of Ms. Chen Wanying in Beidawei Village. Ms. Chen was taken away.
