Artist Ms. Chou I-hsiu's narration wins warm applause.

Mr. Chi Hao-hsiung, Director of the Culture Center, was very happy to see an exhibition of such top-level artwork. Every piece told a moving story. "It was very touching to see these art masters raise the suffering in life to the realm of art. The exhibition will certainly receive warm feedback from local residents!" Mr. Chi was also happy to learn more about the ideals of Falun Gong. He said it would help avoid some misunderstandings based on misleading information from China.

Mr. Kuo Yu-Jun, Director of the Taichung County Chinghsi Literature and Art Society, said, "We can see the role of cultivation in art through Falun Gong. The exhibition pointed out a path to follow. The artists recounted true stories through classic, realistic technique. They put a lot of emotion into it and make you experience the feelings of the characters in the story." Pointing to the painting, "A Tragedy in China," Mr. Kuo said the artist showed great skill. He said that the color change was subtle. "It is outstanding artwork! A lot of feeling was put into it," he noted.

County Councilor Mr. Kao Keetsan said that Falun Gong practitioners' persistent exposure of the persecution has restrained the CCP's (Chinese Communist Party) rampant crimes. The exhibition tells the world about the true story of Falun Gong through art. "The future must be bright!" he said.

County Councilor Mr. Hsie Wenchung expressed his admiration for Falun Gong practitioners' perseverance in human rights and their ideals. He said, "It is lonely to stay on the path of an ideal. However, Falun Dafa has invested great effort in Taiwan and around world in the past years. As long as you continue, you will get the deserved feedback." He said that he would like to support the art exhibition in Taichung every year.

Artist Ms. Chou I-hsiu explained the meaning of the artwork to visitors. She stressed that though the artwork showed cruel scenes of persecution, they inspired compassion and condemnation of crimes. She indicated that this was a very positive way to expose the persecution taking place in China.

The artists represented in the exhibition are overseas Chinese, Taiwanese and Canadian. Two of them, Professor Zhang Kunlun and Ms. Fan Hong had personally experienced persecution in China.

The exhibition will run from March 13 to April 5.
