• Torture and Hard Labor in Handan Forced Labor Camp

• Mr. Ding Guohua Dies Shortly after Being Released from Forced Labor Camp

The forced labor camp released Mr. Ding Guohua when he was dying. Soon after he returned home, he died on January 13, 2009.

• The Death Case of Mr. Jiang Xiqing in Chongqing City Forced Labor Camp

With less than 24 hours after his family's visit, the forced labor camp claimed Mr. Jiang died. But 7 hours later, his family found his body was still warm. Camp authorities gave different explanations for the cause of his death and forbade his family to examine Mr. Jiang's back.

• I Was Bound to a Metal Chair for 17 Days in Changlinzi Forced Labor Camp, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province

Mr. Lang Xinguo's account about his experience in the notorious forced labor camp, with a photo showing the scars left on his legs.

• Shandong Forced Labor Camp Refuses to Let Ms. Zhang Chenglan's Son Visit Her

Due to Ms. Zhang Chenglan's son does not oppose Falun Gong, the forced labor camp guards denied his requests to visit his mother.

Feb. 13

• Ms. Zhang Qiuyun Sentenced to Five Years in Prison

After being tortured and forced to do slave labor for six months, Ms. Zhang Qiuyun still refused to sign a guarantee to renounce Falun Gong, so the local CCP court sentenced her five years in prison.

• Yushu City Police in Jilin Province Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners

The city police department set arrest quotas to subordinate stations, so the local police have been arresting Falun Gong practitioners and extorting money since the beginning of 2009.

Feb. 15

• Mr. Ma Guobiao and His Parents Sentenced in Secret Trial

Mr. Ma Guobiao, his mother and his father were sentenced to 6, 4 and 3 years in prison, respectively, because he invited others to watch the Divine Performing Arts Chinese New Year Spectacular DVD in his home.
