(Clearwisdom.net) During the 2009 Chinese New Year, the number of tourists to Taiwan from China surged. During the two-week holiday, over 500 tour groups totaling over 13,000 tourists arrived in Taiwan. One of their must-see destinations is "Sun Moon Lake." Almost every tourist will visit this site. In front of Shuan Guang Temple beside Sun-Moon Lake, a group of Falun Gong practitioners greeted the Chinese tourists warmly and clarified the truth to them.

Early every morning, a group of practitioners arrived at Shuan Guang Temple near Sun-Moon lake to set up display boards and banners to welcome the tourists that arrived there from the tour boats. "Welcome to Sun-Moon Lake! Falun Dafa is good!" The tourists heard the greetings as they climbed the stairs above the dock. When they saw the banners "Falun Dafa Is Good" and "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," some of them called out, "Falun Dafa is good!" Then Ms. Liao, a practitioner volunteer at the site, said, "Yes, please remember, 'Falun Dafa is good'!" Then she told the tourists how Falun Gong has spread to over 80 countries around the world.
Ms. Liao says there is always a great deal of traffic at Shuan Guang Temple during the day. On January 3, the entire street was packed with tourists. Many from Mainland China took photos of the banners and display boards to show what they learned in Taiwan. They often read the information carefully and discussed in small groups. As they read and discussed, a practitioner handed them a copy of the "Nine Commentaries On Communist Party" and clarified the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong to them. Ms. Liao noticed that the tourists loved to hear her explain the truth about the situation, so she walked along with the tour group as she talked. Many people decided to quit the CCP immediately.
Another practitioner at the site, Mr. Lu, noticed some changes among the Chinese tourists. From their expressions he believed that the recent tourists understand the situation better. Some even came up to him to ask for a copy of the Nine Commentaries. Some asked for a few copies for their friends. Mr. Lu gave an example of how one practitioner convinced 26 Chinese to quit the CCP in only one hour. Mr. Lu also recalled a young businessman from Anhui Province who was visiting Taiwan on business. He watched the Falun Gong group do the exercises for a while and then began to learn them then and there.
This group of practitioners sacrificed their time with their families during the Chinese New Year to clarify the truth to Chinese tourists. When the Chinese tourists said "goodbye" to Sun-Moon Lake, they not only left with memories of the beautiful scenery of Sun-Moon Lake, but also blessings from Falun Gong practitioners.
