(Clearwisdom.net) The Divine Performing Arts (DPA)'s second performance in Tainan City, Taiwan, was held at the Tainan Municipal Culture Center on February 21, 2009. The theater was packed. Applause and bravos, laughter and tears punctuated the performance. At the end of the show, the audience gave the performers a standing ovation and two curtain calls. Theatergoers praised the performance, and many did not want to leave. Art Center Director: "I Don't Want to Blink "
Director of the Chenyuan Music and Art Center Mr. Guo Zhenlu came with his wife. Mr. Guo thought the performance was eye-opening. He didn't want to blink during the whole performance. He said that he was amazed by the combination of the backdrop and the stage and thought the backdrop made the distance between a human and the heavens much closer, allowing him to feel the "unity of man and nature."

Mr. Guo's wife, Mrs. Su Xiuxiang, is the Director of the Chenyuan Zheng (a Chinese instrument) Music Group. She said that she was moved to tears by the DPA show. She enjoyed every performance and was surprised to see that the dancers' steps were so light-footed. She was impressed by their professionalism and the elegance and refined nature of their appearance and costumes. She also appreciated the company's effect of purifying people's hearts.
Chinese Painting Master: It's Really Worth It to See the Show
Renowned Chinese Painting Master Mr. Huang Jinhua said he thought the DPA's performance was wonderful. It was an eye-opening experience for him to see performers that had such complete mastery of their profession.
He said, "The dances and their detailed movements are excellent. The group performance exhibits a good unity of pace with a very high standard. The backdrop is very well done. The stationary and the moving harmonized very well, creating a wonderful effect. The backdrop gave people a feeling of a wide view of the stage."
He also said that the performance gave him many ideas on painting, dance, music, and costume design and thought it was really worth it for him to see the show.
Photographer: DPA's Performance Has Almost No Flaws
Senior photographer Mr. Lin Taiping has 51 years of photography experience. He praised the performance as world class.
He felt that the dancers reached a level of "forgetting oneself" and put their souls into the dance. He was very impressed by the fact that they didn't try to show off individually, but rather focused on the group as a whole. Also, he felt the tenor's singing was very lovely.
Vocal Artist Mr. Liao Zhihui: The Lyrics Reminded People to Seek the Truth
Mr. Liao Zhihui, a member of the Association of Vocal Artists of the Republic of China, said, "As a whole, the performance was very, very good. Since I am a singer, I paid special attention to the singing. I liked the way that the lyrics were displayed on the backdrop. Actually, the most important part of singing is the lyrics. Through the lyrics, the audience will understand clearly the message that the singer tries to convey. The DPA's lyrics mentioned that we should not live a befuddled life. We should use our wisdom and truly seek to understand the truth, the essence of life, and the meaning of life. The DPA's performance is a great reminder to the world."
A Bride from Mainland China: DPA Is Truly Miraculous and Sends the Message to Worship Gods
Mrs. Luu, a new bride from Guangxi Province in China, clapped warmly after each program. She felt that everyone, whether a dance, an instrumental piece, or a vocal program, was "miraculous." She said, "Superb! Truly miraculous!"
Mrs. Luu said that the dancers were like goddesses with their beautiful costumes. She felt that DPA was telling people that they should worship gods. She had never seen such a wonderful performance before. She said, "When I return to mainland China, I will tell everyone I know about the DPA performance. I will ask them to watch it."
