(Clearwisdom.net) (By a correspondent from Beijing) Ms. Deng Kuiying was arrested for the first time on March 8, 2006, when passing out truth clarifying materials, and was detained for more than one month in the Haidian District Detention Center in Beijing. Upon her release, her former employer sent her to a forced brainwashing center for more than six months. She continued to be closely monitored after her release in October 2006.

At the beginning of June 2007, Ms. Deng was arrested for the second time when passing out truth clarifying materials in a store, and was sentenced to two years of forced labor in the Beijing Forced Labor Camp. She was deprived of her visitation rights for more than one month, until she was tortured to a vegetative state. When her family finally saw her, she was unconscious and had a very weak heartbeat.

After suffering one year in the hospital, Ms. Deng died on September 6, 2008.
