(Clearwisdom.net) Jidong Prison is one of the most notorious places in China where Dafa disciples are persecution. Many fellow practitioners have felt that it is very difficult to send forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to it because it is located in a remote place, and because of that, many have ignored it.
We live in the suburbs of Tangshan City. Once I shared with my fourth oldest sister (Sijie) that recently the Minghui/Clearwisdom website has had many reports about practitioners suffering cruel persecution in the Jidong Prison. I thought, "Shouldn't we go there to send forth righteous thoughts to stop the persecution of our fellow practitioners?" Sijie had the same thought, and she went there by herself the next day to familiarize herself with the surroundings around the prison. At night, she came back and told me about what she had found. Like me, she initially didn't know how to get to the prison. However, with firm belief in Dafa and her strong wish to assist fellow practitioners with righteous thoughts, she was able to obtain information in a single day regarding the area around the prison, the methods of transportation, the locations of each section of the prison and places that were appropriate for sending forth righteous thoughts, etc. With the dust from the trip still on her face and shoulders, Sijie smiled at my broadly, and I felt so happy and proud of her.
Sijie came to visit me again and gave me 6,000 yuan. She said, "There are many difficulties for us to go to Jidong Prison to send forth righteous thoughts. For example, some fellow practitioners missed the bus stop or got lost. The worst is that we need to transfer buses in order to get there and wasted lots of time, but the time for Dafa disciples to save people is so precious! I talked with a couple of fellow practitioners, and we all thought about how wonderful it would be if we had our own car. Since we know that you can drive, several of us will get the money and we want to discuss this with you. Why don't we buy a used car so that you can drive us to Jidong Prison to send forth righteous thoughts?" I was able to buy a car that was in good shape not long after that.
The first time, eight practitioners, including Sijie and myself, drove to Jidong to send forth righteous thoughts. After getting into the car, everybody quietly sent forth righteous thoughts. That was my first time going there, and I drove along the bus route. We did not know that the road to Jidong Prison was extremely bad. There are lots of holes and cracks in the road, and we could not drive faster than 20 miles per hour. However, that did not bother us. Two of the female senior practitioners used to get car sickness easily. However, on that day, nobody felt nauseated. After being jolted around for one hour in the car, we eventually arrived at the place and saw the front of the office building for the prison. None of us had the sentiments of joining the Chinese New Year celebration like everyone else. We found a good place and quickly entered the state of intensely sending forth righteous thoughts. We changed angles several times, and we continuously sent forth righteous thoughts for two hours.
Before leaving Jidong Prison, I asked an old street vendor whether there was a better road to Tangshan City. He said, "Yes. Just drive along this direction." I then drove along the direction in which he pointed. After driving for about ten miles, I started to suspect that I was on the wrong road and wanted to find somebody to ask. However, I could not see anyone on the big road, not even a shadow. When I was hesitating, suddenly I saw in the rear view mirror that a motorcycle was coming towards us. I stopped the car on the shoulder and waved to them to ask for directions. A man and woman were on the motorcycle together, and they told me that the road was called Jianfeng Road, and that it led to Tangshan. Once I started my car and was ready to drive ahead, the motorcycle driver turned around and left in the opposite direction. We realized that the motorcycle was sent to us by Master to inform us of the right direction. We smiled at each other and thanked our great and benevolent Master.
Once, we decided to go to Jidong Prison from Tanghai City, asking for directions as we drove along the way. After we passed through the Zuidong region, we somehow ended up in Section 4 of the prison. Section 4 is about 19 miles away from the office building of the prison and Sections 1, 2, 5, and 9 are all on our way. I intentionally slowed my speed, and nine Dafa disciples raised their hands to intensely send forth righteous thoughts. When we arrived at the central part of the prison, I suddenly felt that the energy field around me was tremendously strong, which covered the whole prison. At that time, I felt as if I had seen fellow practitioners illegally imprisoned in the prison, and tears filled my eyes. I said in my heart, "Fellow practitioners, we are here to assist you! Please strengthen your righteous thoughts! Please break out of the den of evil as soon as possible. Sentient beings are looking forward to meeting you."
That trip left me with an especially strong impression, and I was deeply moved. I think that every Dafa disciple involved has a lot to say and some of the feelings are beyond description. Several years have passed, and more and more practitioners in my region have become involved in sending forth righteous thoughts in close proximity to Jidong Prison. Some go there alone, some form a group, and some ride buses to get there.
