(Clearwisdom.net) (By a Minghui correspondent reporting from Hubei Province) Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Wu Zhengping from Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province has been released from Guangzhou Chatou Forced Labor Camp, however she is still being monitored and harassed by the local police. In Chatou Labor Camp, Wu Zhengping was detained in a dark room, isolated from the world for two years.
On September 23 2007, police from Guangzhou City arrested many Falun Dafa practitioners. They arrested 37 practitioners in Tianhetang and Haizhu districts alone, and also searched some materials storage locations.
At about 1:40 p.m. on September 23, 2007, Wu Zhengping was in her rented room in Tianhetang Guangzhou, getting ready to go to work, when she saw Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Zhang Aiping come in wearing handcuffs. Five or six police officers also came in and pushed Ms. Zhang towards the door. Ms. Zhang said that she wanted a drink of water, but the officers told her, "No water. Move!" Wu Zhengping said, "You are too extreme, why not let her drink some water?" Two police officers handcuffed Ms. Wu roughly and took her to the police car. Two other practitioners were in the car: Xiao Pen from Guangxi (who was sentenced to seven years in prison and was just recently released) and another unidentified female practitioner. The four were taken to Guangzhou Tianhe Detention Center.
At the detention center, Wu Zhengping and another practitioner were detained together in a small cell where they could not see anyone else. Wu Zhengping held a hunger strike for a week to resist the persecution. The police tried to force-feed her with liquid infusions three times but failed. She was later transferred to Guangzhou Armed Police Hospital.
Guangzhou Armed Police Hospital detained many Falun Dafa practitioners. While detained there, Wu Zhengping became emaciated. She weighed less than 90 pounds, and her body was extremely weak. Even in this condition, police dragged Wu Zhengping to a prison cell and bound her feet and arms to the bed, force-feeding her in front of many people in the same cell. They did not remove the feeding tube which had been inserted through her nose into her stomach until the next afternoon. This made breathing very difficult for Wu Zhengping, and also made her very weak.
A couple of days later, Wu Zhengping was sent back to the detention center and then to Guangzhou Chatou Small Island Forced Labor Camp for two years. In the labor camp, Wu Zhengping refused to sign a so-called guarantee statement and was detained in solitary confinement with two people monitoring her constantly. She was detained in a dark room where she could not see anyone and had no freedom. Wu Zhengping was held like this for two years.
On September 22, 2009, after Ms. Wu's forced labor term expired, Gao Qing from from the Zhongxiang City 610 Office, Political and Law President Li Xuefu, Yingzhong Police Station President Chen, and another officer took her home. However, Zhongxiang City 610 Office agents still frequently harass and threaten her.
Ms. Wu Zhengping has been arrested and detained four times since the persecution began in July 1999. Her happy family was destroyed by the persecution. Wu Zhengping now lives in a very difficult situation with no financial resources. Because of the endless persecution, her husband refuses to help. The weather is getting cold and she doesn't even have warm clothes.
