(Clearwisdom.net) Minghui.org (Chinese version of Clearwisdom.net) is my favorite website. Since we don't have a broadband connection at home, I always save the time to visit the Internet cafe every Friday when Minghui Weekly is released. I then download the publications to take home to read.
Nowadays, there has been increasing discussion about the Internet blockade becoming stronger. I could no longer access the website with Freegate, so I searched a bit on the Web and used a proxy--a method used several years ago--to make the connection. It worked every time. I could pretty much surf anywhere I wanted to. However, I noticed a strange thing. There were no problems with anything that I downloaded from Minghui, including weekly publications, booklets, and truth clarification pamphlets, but I had great difficulty viewing all other ordinary media websites. Nevertheless, there was never a problem when downloading from Minghui.
Two days ago, I downloaded all 18 previous weekly publications very smoothly, but I was continuing to face considerable problems visiting overseas websites. The web pages would either stop loading or redirect me to the Baidu webpage (a Chinese search engine). Searching inward, I found that I had a strong attachment to use Freegate, because it was very simple to use and allowed me to view many anti-communist articles written by non-practitioners overseas. These news articles satisfied my attachments for fame and impressing others: I could learn much about the latest news outside of China and could show off my knowledge to other practitioners. Furthermore, I was even attached to speculating about the current political situation of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and on its disintegration, based on the changing situations abroad, rather than taking the Fa as the teacher and measuring everything based on the Fa. It satisfied my curiosity and interest to hear about this event or that speech. The old forces took advantage of this weakness and thus obstructed our use of blockade breaching software.
However, it is natural for Dafa practitioners to visit Minghui. That is something undeniable, something unquestionable, something no element can prevent. Even Teacher has mentioned that Minghui cannot be blocked. What Teacher has taught is Fa. It is something that all living beings in the cosmos must abide by and it is something that no being would dare obstruct. Because my thought of visiting Minghui is pure, I am able to connect to it every day without a problem, even during the period of the wicked CCP's October 1st event. But as for all other overseas websites, as I mentioned before, because I could not let go of my various attachments, I provided a pretext for the old forces to bring me this trial. Minghui is Dafa practitioners' website; it is something we all value. There is no pretext for the old forces to test us, and so this blockade will naturally fail.
