(Clearwisdom.net) (Reported from Hubei Province.) One day in September 2009, several children who had just lost their father went to see Feng Aiguo and Guo Jianli, the heads of Xishui County Police Department 610 Office in Hubei Province, to demand the release of their mother, Zhang Guixiang, so that she could go home to attend their father's funeral. However, the police simply ignored their request.

During the ten years of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong, the families of many practitioners have suffered in different ways and to different degrees. They have endured hardships that words cannot describe. During the many years of the persecution that Ms. Zhang has suffered, her husband Chen Dongming had to carry on the tasks of both father and mother. He married three daughters, supported their youngest son to go to school, maintained their rice field and some other fields on a hill, kept some water buffaloes, and at the same time, worried about Ms. Zhang. Having to do too much farm work and the house chores all by himself, he often did not have the chance to have regular meals. He often just skipped meals, drank some water, or had some instant noodles in place of normal meals.

In early September, Mr. Chen bought the drink "Fast Nutrition." He didn't know that it was poisonous. Right after drinking it, he started to vomit blood and had diarrhea. A few days after that, he passed away. He did not even see his wife before he died.

Being a Falun Gong practitioner, Ms. Zhang follows the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She loves her children. Since the persecution began on July 20, 1999, Ms. Zhang has been arrested many times because she wanted to tell people the truth of Falun Gong. To her children, it seems that they do not have a mother anymore since she was constantly imprisoned by Xishui Police Department.

From 2001 to 2002, Ms. Zhang was imprisoned at Xishui No. 1 Detention Center. On one occasion, the head of the center (named He) and some other guards used bamboo planks to hit her. Her body was blue and purple after that. Later, the wounds were all swollen and infected. As a result, she could not sit or sleep, which caused her to have high fever, and she consequently fainted.

After being detained for over a year at Xishui Detention Center, she was given a five-year sentence and was transferred to the Wuhan City Women's Prison. Then she was transferred to Shayang Forced Labor Camp in Hubei Province where she suffered all kinds of inhuman tortures. During daytime, she had to do the heavy labor, but she was prohibited from sleeping in the evenings. She was forced to stand for a long period of time. To force Ms. Zhang to renounce her belief, the authorities at the detention center offered criminal inmates with term of sentence reductions in exchange for their brutal torture of Ms. Zhang.

A year after her release, right before the Beijing Olympics Games in 2008, Zhang Laping, head of Wanggang Township Police Station, Yang Tiangang, head of Guankou Police Station, and a dozen more policemen once again broke into Ms. Zhang's residence. Her husband, Chen Dongming (not a practitioner) went to reason with them to stop them from taking Ms. Zhang away. However, the police thugs knocked him onto the floor and twisted his arms. Their daughter was also wounded. The police then detained Ms. Zhang at Xishui No. 2 Detention Center, and then they transferred her to No. 1 Detention Center.

Immediately after that, Ms. Zhang was given a sentence and imprisoned at the Forced Labor Team in Wuhan City Women's Prison. She suffered all kinds of torture there. During the daytime, she was forced to do hard labor, but she was not allowed to sleep in the evenings and had to stand up for a long period of time. The team head Zhang Li and guard Pang often directed some drug addicts to beat and curse at Ms. Zhang. They also locked her up in the bathroom and sexually abused her, and they injected some unknown drug into her.

Ms. Zhang has been tortured so severely that she is now unable to walk. She is very skinny, has difficulty breathing, and in critical condition. But the guards have not stopped the persecution.

After Zhang's husband Chen Dongming died from the poisonous drink, their children have gone to Xishui Police Department several times to ask Feng Aiguo and Guo Jianli to release their mother. However, the people at 610 Office and the police department ignore the children.

Please help these poor children get their dying mother back.
