(Clearwisdom.net) On January 17, 2008, the opening of the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition was held at Depot Art Space in North Shore City, New Zealand.

At the opening of the exhibition, Amato Akarana, a Maori chief, recited poems in the Maori language. Mr. Akarana told the guests that his whole family knows about the persecution of Falun Gong and that he, his family and friends will continue to support Falun Gong.

Mr. Lawton, the manager of Depot Art Space, gave a speech in fluent Chinese. He recalled that the first Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition in New Zealand was held at Depot Art Space, and he was honored that the exhibition came to his gallery again.

Tau Henere, a Parliament Member, sent a letter of congratulations to the exhibition.
