Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.
Examples of Karmic Retribution
1. Huang Qiang, 43, was an employee of the Huili Radio Broadcasting Bureau and a CCP member. On August 8, 2008, he and seven people from the National Security Team, including Liu Jianping, went to damage the satellite TV receiver installed at a Falun Gong practitioner's home (the practitioner has been illegally detained). Huang Qiang fell from the 4th to the 3rd floor and then dropped from the balcony on the 3rd floor to the 2nd and was severely injured. The hospital emergency team could not save him. He died on the evening of August 11. His parents, wife, and child survive him.
2. Gu Zhaojian, the Former deputy section chief of the Propaganda Section of Changchun City Police Department died at the age of 49.
Gu Zhaojian, used to be the deputy office chief of the Propaganda Office of Changchun City Police Department and the producer of "Golden Shield and Silver Screen" at Changchun TV Station (a program jointly produced by the local police and the TV station) and he was the deputy secretary of the CCP Committee at his workplace.
As section chief in 1998, he worked with the police from the No. 1 Section of Changchun Police Department to secretly record practitioners doing the exercises and provided many video and audio tapes to the 610 Office of Changchun City. He and his subordinates closely followed Jiang's orders and videotaped practitioners to discredit the founder of Falun Gong. He paid for an official position and was appointed deputy office chief. He used every device at his disposal to persecute practitioners, including creating many video programs that lied about Falun Gong. These programs were broadcast as propaganda. Practitioners kept trying to clarify the facts to him, but he refused to listen.
In January 2008, he was diagnosed with a thyroid gland malignant tumor. He was afraid to be exposed by Changchun practitioners and went secretly to the hospital to have an operation. On August 8, 2008, he died in his office.
3. Liu Chuang and Wang Yanchuang, two policemen at the No. 3 Detention Center of Changchun Police Department that persecuted practitioners, were arrested.
Liu Chuang, a 45-year-old male, was the Administration Section Chief at No. 3 Detention Center under the Prison Administration Team under the Changchun Police Department. He persecuted many practitioners, some left paralyzed or dead as a result. In April 2008, he tortured one detainee to death. He has since been arrested.
Wang Yanchuang, a 29-year-old male, was a guard at the No. 3 Detention Center. He is cruel and merciless, and he severely beat countless practitioners. He even used salt to force-feed practitioners on hunger strike. The exact number of practitioners he persecuted to death, paralyzed, or injured is still unknown. In August 2007, one detainee died when Wang Yanchuang force-fed him with salt. Wang has since been arrested for torturing detainees.
Wang Zejin from Kangping Village, Liaoning Province, Dies of a Stroke
Wang Zejin, 63, lived in Dengjiazu, Sanjia Village, Xiaochengzi Township, Kangping County. He enjoyed eating but didn't want to work. After the CCP started to persecute Falun Gong, in order to get easy money, Wang Zejin spared no efforts to monitor and follow practitioners and often tore down Falun Gong banners and stickers.
Practitioners kindly explained the facts to him and asked him not to believe the CCP propaganda and not to persecute Falun Gong. He didn't want to listen and said, "Whoever gives me money, I will do anything for them."
Once when he tore down some stickers, one practitioner warned him, "Falun Gong practitioners' stickers are used to save people and anyone who reads the words on the stickers can be saved. If you tear it down, it is not good for you."
Good will be rewarded with good and evil rewarded with evil. On August 22, 2004, Wang Zejin suddenly had a stroke and died three days later.
Zhu Engui Has an Accident While Riding a Police Motorcycle
Zhu Engui, Legal Assistant of Shanfeidi Township in Kaiyuan City of Liaoning Province, often rode a police motorcycle during the Olympics. His supervisor recently allocated time to him and he secretly monitored practitioners, took down banners with the words Truth-Compassion-Forbearance, seized Dafa materials, and spared no effort to work for Jiang's regime.
On August 14, 2008, Zhu Engui rode into a farmer's tricycle and his right leg was fractured. At the same time the Political and Law Section Secretary of the Township Tang Wenbo also was injured.
