(Clearwisdom.net) The "Advocating Scientific Education School" in Deyang City, Sichuan Province is actually a deceptive name for a brainwashing center established by the 610 Office (see picture 1) in Deyang City, also known as the Hexing Brainwashing Center . It is located between Guanghan City and Hexing Town near the Hexing Bridge (see picture 2). It is a three-story building, with wired, steel-netted windows, resembling a cage. The illegally arrested practitioners are jailed in this building. Occasionally, practitioners standing near windows can be seen from the outside (see picture 3). There are additional structures within the walls of the main building, and the size of the facility is approximately twenty five acres (see picture 4).
In recent years, the Hexing Brainwashing Center has been identified as a site for the detainment and persecution of large numbers of practitioners from Deyang City, Guanghan City, Shifang City, and other surrounding areas; some practitioners have been tortured to death in this prison.
Since July 2008, the Chinese Communist Party has arrested over forty practitioners from Guanghan City and the surrounding areas. At least twenty were detained at the brainwashing center, while the remaining practitioners were jailed in the Guanghan City Detention Center located at Nanchang Road, Luocheng Town, Guanghan City (see picture 5).
At this time, practitioners continue to be arrested, and then they are taken to the Hexing Brainwashing Center via the front gate, which is protected by armed guards.
