In 2005, I visited a relative in Harbin. Upon entering the home, I saw a a boy whose whole body was swollen with edema. The swelling was so severe that his eyes were almost completely hidden and only the nostrils and mouth were visible on his pale face. The boy was eleven and had been afflicted with kidney inflammation since the age of five. Neither Chinese nor western medical treatments had any effect. He had also developed uremia and for the two weeks prior to my visit, he could not eat, drink, sleep or urinate. At around noon, the boy told his mother, "I think I'm about to die."
When I saw this miserable scene, I immediately read Zhuan Falun to him. The boy fell asleep right after I finished reading the first lecture. He slept until 1 a.m. but woke up with a high fever. He vomited, had diarrhea, and experienced excruciating pain in his stomach that made him cry and shout in pain. After about an hour, the boy stopped crying and shouting. The vomiting and diarrhea ended, his temperature returned to normal, and he went back to sleep.
When he got up the next morning, the edema had noticeably gone down, and he was able to urinate. On the third day, he became active and lively. He began to study the Fa and do the exercises. Three weeks later, he completely returned to normal. Now he is very strong and healthy and is doing well in school. He is kindhearted, honest and diligent at home and at school. He is always willing to help others.
Whenever someone asks about how he recovered, he says with a smile, "It is Falun Dafa that saved me!"
