Personnel from the Tongyuan Township Police Station arrested Ms. Gao Hua and Ms. Yang Xuemei from Yongdeng County and ransacked their homes at 12:50 p.m. on July 16, 2008. The next day, police put them into the Jiuzhou Developmental District Women's Prison in Lanzhou City.

Personnel from the Gucheng Town 610 Office and from the Dingxing County Domestic Security Division arrested Ms. Niu Shuqin at her home in Yantai Beidian Village at 6:00 a.m. on July 18, 2008. They confiscated a satellite dish and two receivers.

Officials from Gucheng Town ransacked Ms. Wang Shumin's home at 7:00 a.m. on July 8, 3008. They confiscated a small and a large satellite dish.

Personnel from the Anxin County Police Department's Olympic Security Office and police from Zhaobeikou Town arrested Mr. Liu Dabian at his home and ransacked the place at 6:00 a.m. on July 22, 2008.

Police arrested Ms. Liang Yanhua from Boyu Town, Weihai City on June 24, 2008, when she explained the facts about Falun Gong to people. Police ransacked her home and sentenced her to three years of forced labor in the Wangcun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City.

Police damaged two Falun Gong materials-production sites in Taohua Town near the Hongcheng Market in Nanchang City on March 7-10, 2007. Eight practitioners were arrested, including Mr. Tu Guofan, Mr. Shi Lagen, Ms. Wang Qingyun, Ms. Li Chunfeng, Mr. Wu Laiting, Mr. Tao Fu, Mr. Li Liefeng and Ms. Gong Taorong. They are being held in the Nanchang City No. 1 Detention Center. Xihu District Court agents sentenced them on May 8, 2008. Mr. Tu was sentenced to 10 years in prison, Mr. Shi to eight years, Ms. Wang to eight years, Ms. Li to eight years, Mr. Wu to six years, Mr. Tao to three years, and Mr. Li to three years.

Police arrested Ms. Xie Mingyu and confiscated some Falun Gong truth-clarifying materials at noon on July 6, 2008. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Zunhua City Police Department 610 Office agents broke into Mr. Wang Yumin and Ms. Wang Ning's sister's homes at noon on July 16, 2008 and ransacked them. They subsequently arrested the two practitioners and held Wang Ning's sister at the Zunhua City Brainwashing School and Wang Yumin at Zunhua City Detention Center.

Officers from Huanghua Police Station arrested Ms. Li Binghong from Dongshanpo Village, Huanghua Town, Zhucheng City early on the morning of July 9, 2008.

49. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Update Regarding the Arrest of Ms. Hu Rimei

Someone reported Ms. Hu Rimei from Changli County, Qinhuangdao City to the authorities as she was distributing Falun Gong flyers in Shaziying Village, Anshan Town. The police arrested and held her at the Changli County Detention Center. They took her Falun Gong books and materials, as well as a satellite dish used to watch the New Tang Dynasty TV network.

50. [Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province] Mr. Liu Fusheng and His Wife Shi Chunyu Arrested

Someone reported Mr. Liu Fusheng as he handed out Falun Gong flyers in the Binhe Neighborhood District on the afternoon of July 17, 2008. The police subsequently arrested and took him to the police station. They ransacked his home the next day and arrested his wife. The persecutors also took several thousand yuan with the phrase "The heavens are eliminating the CCP, quit the Party to be safe" written on them. The couple is currently held at the police station.

Officers from the Yingdong District Police Department in Fuyang City arrested Mr. Sun Guoan on the morning of July 20, 2008.

Authorities arrested Ms. Yang Li, Ms. Deng Qiuying, Ms. Liu Fengyun, Ms. Li Suiyun, and Mr. Gao Hongbin between July 15 and July 18, 2008. They held Li Suiyun at the Xiaofan Detention Center.

Pingshan County 610 Office agents and police officers removed Ms. Liu Xinli's satellite receiver, and took her computer(s) and arrested her on the morning of July 21, 2008.

54. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Jin Dianlong and His Wife Jin Liangyu Arrested

The authorities arrested Mr. Jin Dianlong and his wife Jin Liangyu at noon on July 18, 2008. They also arrested Ms. Ren Jinsheng and Mr. Wang Ruihua and held them at Shenzhou City Detention Center in Hebei Province.

Officers from the Yuguan Town Police Station in Funing County, Qinhuangdao City ransacked Mr. Guo Daoyou's home and took his computer(s), printer(s), Falun Gong book(s), VCDs and other belongings at 3:00 p.m. on July 18, 2008. They subsequently arrested Guo Daoyou and took him to the Funing County Detention Center.

57. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

The police arrested Mr. Wu Kui, Mr. Li Shunli and Mr. Zhang Yueming from Baoding City on July 17, 2008. They held Wu Kui and Li Shunli in a small white building at the Baoding City Cotton Textile Factory. Zhang Yueming's whereabouts are unknown.

58. [Zhuolu County, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

A group of officials from Wujiagou Coal Mine in Zhuolu County went to Ms. Chen's home and said to her, "The Olympics is approaching, and our supervisor wants to talk to you." Ms. Chen followed them to the coalmine factory and was immediately arrested. The police also arrested Mr. Liu Wenzhong, Mr. He and Ms. Zhai Shengrong.

59. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yue Chunpu Arrested

Local police and officers from the Wenbei Police Station ransacked 65-year-old Ms. Yue Chunpu's house, which her family had built in Dayeli, Lunan District, Tangshan City on July 8, 2008, and arrested her.

The police arrested Ms. Kun Ying from Zhoubian Village, an employee of the Dingzhou City Electricity Plant, on the afternoon of July 20, 2008.

61. [Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Li Yuanqiang and Ms. Lin Xinmei Arrested

610 Office agents arrested Mr. Li Yuanqiang and Ms. Lin Xinmei from Baoan, Shenzhen City in July 2008 and took them to Xili Brainwashing Center.

62. [Dingxing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Niu Shuqin Arrested

Domestic Security agents and 610 Office agents arrested Ms. Niu Shuqin at 6:00 a.m. on July 18, 2008.

63. [Qingdao City, Shandong Province] Ms. Yu Renmei Arrested

Officers from the Badahu Police Station arrested Ms. Yu Renmei from the Laoshan District, Qingdao City on the afternoon of July 17, 2008. It happened as she was telling people about Falun Gong at the Darunfa Supermarket in Qingdao City. The persecutors held her at Dashan Detention Center.

64. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Hu Deyuan, Ms. Zhang Xianggen and Ms. Ni Aiai arrested

Yingtan City police arrested Mr. Hu Deyuan, Ms. Zhang Xianggen and Ms. Ni Aiai on June 27, 2008, and held them at the Yingtan City Detention Center.

65. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Hongying Arrested

Kenli County 610 Office agents arrested Ms. Li Hongying, a teacher at the No. 2 Kenli County Middle School in Dongying City in July 2008.

66. [Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Di Meiyun Arrested

The police arrested Ms. Di Meiyun at 9:00 p.m. on July 19, 2008, as she spoke with people at the Changzheng Road Supermarket about the Communist Party's atrocities.

67. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Du Shanyou Arrested

The police arrested Mr. Du Shanyou, who is in his sixties, at 9:00 p.m. on July 19, 2008 and took him to the Yangyuan Brainwashing Center.

68. [Zunhua City, Hubei Province] Mr. Wang Yimin and Ms. Xiu Fen Arrested

Zunhua City police arrested Mr. Wang Yimin and Ms. Xiufen from Shiqiaotou Village in East Jiuzhai Town.

69. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wu Guizhi Arrested

A security officer at a shopping mall reported Ms. Wu Guizhi from Gaoyang County, Baoding City as Ms. Wu was handing out Falun Gong materials. The police arrested Ms. Wu and sentenced her to three years of forced labor. After extorting her family of around 30,000 yuan [3,750 USD], they changed the term to one year of forced labor, to be served outside of the labor camp.

70. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Wang Guirong and Her Son Mr. Gu Guilin Arrested

The police arrested Ms. Wang Guirong and her non-practitioner son, Mr. Gu Guilin, on the evening of July 13, 2008.

71. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Qiu Jiaxiu Arrested

Qiujiazhuang police from Zhucheng City broke into Ms. Qiu Jiaxiu's home in Qiujiazhuangzi Village, Zhucheng City at 4:00 p.m. on July 12, 2008. They subsequently held her at the Zhucheng City Detention Center.

72. [Huadian City, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Ruiling and Ms. Wu Yuhua Arrested

Local police arrested Ms. Song Ruiling from Jinsha Township, Huadian City and Ms. Wu Yuhua from Huashu Township on July 11, 2008, and took them to Huadian City Detention Center.

73. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Ms. Cheng Yulan Arrested

Local police arrested Ms. Cheng Yulan from Xiwu Village, East Wenshan Township in Laishui County at 5:00 p.m. on July 17, 2008, and held them at the Laishui County Custody Center. They forbade their families from meeting with them.

74. [Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Zhang Yan Arrested

Officials from the Keerxin District Domestic Security Division in Tongliao City arrested Mr. Zhang Yan on July 19, 2008.
