(Clearwisdom.net) Nord Eclair is one of three major newspapers in Nord-Pas-De-Calais, a region in northern France. On August 3, it published an article entitled, "Two China Youths petition in front of the Commercial Centre in the French city of Calais." The article points out that people really need to awaken their conscience, that ordinary Chinese people live a life without freedom of speech, and that the CCP harvests organs from living practitioners.
The article says that we should not overlook the huge banners displayed opposite the Commercial Centre about the people being persecuted in China. The two young Chinese practitioners stood in the street, holding a wide range of information.
The article said that the Chinese people live a life without freedom of speech. Falun Gong practitioner Yang Rui used the summertime to travel to other cities to expose the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. Yang Rui said, "We have to reveal the truth hidden by the Chinese Communist Party. The CCP is brainwashing people via education through work. People do not see the dark side. The media is controlled by the government and only report good news. Ordinary Chinese people live a life without freedom of expression. They dare not talk about political topics. Even my parents do not understand why I do these things in France. The fact is that the situation of China's persecution is very serious."
The article also stated that David Kilgour validated in his report that the CCP had committed the crime of harvesting live organs from Falun Gong practitioners and selling them. More than 3,000 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death, and this figure will increase. Through their actions, these two Chinese youths would like to appeal to as many people as possible: "We want everyone to know the truth. People really need to awaken their conscience! They need to know that the CCP has started to remove organs from living practitioners and sell them."
The Nord Eclair article discussed that while the world was concerned about the Olympic Games, the human rights situation in China really hasn't improved at all, despite the promises made when making its Olympic bid eight years ago.
