On June 22, 2008, police from the Mengjia Police Station arrested Ms. Liu Shubin and Ms. Wang Guixin with the excuse of finding around a dozen Dafa books in the home of Liu. On July 2, 2008, Ms. Liu Shubin was sentenced to one year in a forced labor camp. Ms. Wang was released on parole for medical treatment.

2. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Jiang Guixing and Ms. Fang Xiuying Persecuted

On July 16, 2008, Mr. Jiang Guixing from Jianye Township, Linghai City was sent to the Jinzhou Forced Labor Camp for one year. Ms. Fang Xiuying was sentenced to one year of forced labor, to be served outside under surveillance.

3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Daqing Authorities Arrest Falun Dafa Practitioners with the Excuse of Protecting the Olympic Games

On the afternoon of July 11, 2008, in the name of protecting the Olympic Games, police from the Chengfeng Police Station in Ranghulu District, arrested Falun Dafa practitioners including Ms. Shi Jingxia, Ms. Xiao Hou and Ms. Wang Xiuying. Ms. Shi Jingxia was released home on the same day. The homes of Xiao Hou and Wang Xiuying were searched. Their whereabouts are now unknown.

5. [Xushui County, Hebei Province] Information about the Arrest of Falun Dafa Practitioners

The arrested eight Falun Dafa practitioners from Xushui County, Baoding City are Ms. Han Xiurong, Ms. Hou Yulan, Ms. Ma Yuxia, Ms. Qian Xiuzhen, Ms. Wu Xiuping, Ms. Wang Shuying, Mr. Li Yujun and Mr. Huang Baochang. They are being detained at Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp and Baoding Forced Labor Camp.

6. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Mr. Li Shunli, Mr. Li Yukui and Ms. Zhang Yueming Persecuted

On July 17, 2008, Mr. Li Shunli, Mr. Li Yukui and Ms. Zhang Yueming were arrested by police from Xiezhuang Police Station and the Xinshi District National Security Team. The home of Li Yukui was searched. Li Shunli and Li Yukui are being detained in a Brainwashing Center affiliated with the Baoding City Wool Textile Factory. Zhang Yueming is being detained in the Xiezhuang Police Station.

7. [Datong City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Liang Zhuanmei Transferred to the Datong City First Detention Center

On the afternoon of July 10, 2008, Ms. Liang Zhuanmei from Datong City went to a train station in Datong City. She was arrested because the Datong Railroad National Security Team found a copy of Zhuan Falun and truth-clarifying materials in her bags. She is currently being detained in the Datong City First Detention Center.

8. [Wulumuqi City, Xinjiang Province] Ms. Chen Ping and Two Other Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested

On July 12, 2008, Ms. Chen Ping (45 years old), Mr. Liu Chaokun (45 years old, Ms. Chen Ping's husband) and Ms. Liu Hongxia (about 30 years old, Mr. Liu Chaokun's younger sister) were arrested from their home. Chen Ping and Liu Hongxia are being detained in the Liudaowan Detention Center of the Wulumuqi Police Department. Liu Chaokun's whereabouts is unknown.

9. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested

On July 4, 2008, police from the Fushun City Police Department and the Gongnong Police Station arrested Ms. Gao Shengbin, Ms. Gao's younger sister, Ms. Deng Huizhong and Ms. Zhang in an auto repair workshop. Police destroyed the Falun Dafa materials production site in the workshop. They confiscated computers, typing machines, CD burners, accessories, cash, etc. Now the four practitioners are being detained in a detention center.

At 4:30 p.m. on June 16, 2008, five policemen from the Yaming Police Station in Huanggu District arrested Ms. Liu Guifeng from her home.

On July 7, 2008, Ms. Zhao Liping and Ms. Zhao Changping from Dadong District, both of whom are about 50 years old, went to Shenjingzi to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were reported and arrested by the Shenjingzi Police Station. Their homes were searched. The police took away Dafa books and other truth-clarifying materials. Now they are being detained in the Zhaohua Detention Center.

13. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Fengqin, Mr. Qin Zhongke and His Wife from the Handan Steel Group Arrested

Mr. Qin Zhongke is about 65 years old and a retired senior engineer from the Handan Steel Group. On the morning of July 14, 2008, a group of policemen from the Handan City 610 Office and the Luochengtou Police Station searched his home and Ms. Zhang Fengqin's homes. The police took away a computer, two printers and 4,700 yuan in cash from Zhang Fengqin's home. Ms. Zhang Fengqin, Mr. Qin Zhongke and his wife were arrested. Now they are being detained in the Handan City First Detention Center.

14. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Mei Yingquan Arrested and Sent to the Xinji Detention Center

On the morning of July 14, 2008, Mr. Ye Hui from Xiaogan City, about 30 years old, was arrested and sent to the Tangsunhu Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City.

16. [Chongqing City] Mr. Xie Jin Persecuted Again

On the morning of July 15, 2008, police from the Huangjiaoya Police Station in Nanan District and Street Administration officials broke into the home of Mr. Xie Jin who works in the Huangjiaoya Institute of Posts and Telecommunications. Mr. Xie Jin was arrested and his home was searched. He is currently detained in the Nanan District Detention Center.

17. [Zhaoyuan City, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Shuqin and Ms. Cheng Shulan Arrested

On July 13, 2008, Ms. Wang Shuqin went to visit Ms. Cheng Shulan who lives in Xichengzi Village. Both of them are in their 60s. The police searched the home, arrested the two practitioners and sent them to Zhaoyuan City.

18. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Follow-up Report on Arrest of Ms. Shi Wulan and Ms. Liu Jihua

On the morning of July 15, 2008, Ms. Shi Wulan and Ms. Liu Jihua from Huaian Town, Huaian County were reported by Li Xiaobin, a person from Yuanjiafang Village. Police from the Chengzhen Town Police Station of Huaian arrested them. In the Chengzhen Police Station, the police sprayed a pesticide for killing mosquitoes on Shi Wulan. Later on, Shi Wulan was transferred to the Shisanli Detention Center in Zhangjiakou City. Liu Jihua and another non-practitioner were fined 3,800 yuan and 2,500 yuan, respectively.

19. [Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Li Aixue Missing for Five Years

On the afternoon of January 12, 2003, Ms. Li Aixue and another practitioner went out to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were arrested by police from the Yanghenan Town Police Station in Xuanhua County. Later Li Aixue was sentenced to one year and a half years of forced labor. Her whereabouts have been unknown for five years.

20. [Xuanhua City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Fulan Arrested

On the morning of July 16, 2008, police from the Tiedaonan Police Station broke into the home of Ms. Yang Fulan and confiscated truth-clarifying CDs and materials and Dafa books. Yang Fulan was arrested and is being detained in the Shisanli Detention Center in Zhangjiakou City.

21. [Pingjiang County, Hunan Province] Ms. Wang Wuhui Arrested

On June 28, 2008, Ms. Wang Wuhui and Ms. He Linghua from Pingjiang County went to a rural area to distribute truth-clarifying materials. They were reported and arrested. He Linghua and the driver, who is not a practitioner, were detained for a few hours and then released. Wang Wuhui is being detained in the Pingjiang County Detention Center.

Wang Wuhui was detained twice in 2000 because she went to appeal and distribute truth-clarifying materials. In January 2002, she was sentenced to three years' imprisonment because she distributed truth-clarifying materials. Ms. Wang was tortured in the Changsha Women's Prison.

22. [Shenzhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zheng Lanping and Ms. Dou Fengci Persecuted

On July 18, 2008, police from the Wangjiajing Town Police Station broke into the home of Ms. Zheng Lanping at Douwangzhuang Village. They took away Dafa books and videos, destroyed their satellite dish and arrested Zheng Lanping. Now her whereabouts is unknown.

On the evening of July 18, 2008, the Wangjiajing police broke into the home of Ms. Dou Fengci at Daranzhuang Village. The police took away several Dafa books, lecture CDs and exercises tapes. Dou Fengci escaped.

23. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Yan Jiang and Mr. Yan Li from Qingyuan County Arrested at the End of June 2008

24. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Mr. Shang Xiaodong

Mr. Shang Xiaodong, 27 years old, is a general design manager for the Xinshiji Hongyuan 2015 Studio in Changchun City. On July 14, 2008, the day the Olympic Torch passed through Changchun City, several policemen went to his office and arrested him. The police also took away 70 yuan paper bills with truth-clarifying words, truth-clarifying VCDs, cell phones, and other items.

25. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Tang Dongru Arrested

On June 20, 2008, Ms. Tang Dongru from Fuxing Village, Jianghan District was arrested because she distributed truth-clarifying materials. Now her whereabouts is unknown.

26. [Shanghai City] Mr. Jin Ping from Nanhui District Detained

Mr. Jin Ping, 41 years old, lives in Zhuqiao Town, Nanhui District. On July 16, 2008, he was arrested at his paint shop. His home was searched. He is currently detained in the Nanhui District Detention Center.

27. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] On the Afternoon of July 19, 2008, Mr. Sun Yushu from Shenbei New District Arrested at His Home

28. [Wuji County, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Minxue Sent to a Forced Labor Camp

At 9:00 p.m. on July 5, 2008, police from the Zhangduangu Police Station arrested Ms. Wang Minxue and detained her in the town police station. On July 15, 2008, she was transferred to the Shijiazhuang Women's Forced Labor Camp.

29. [Wei County, Hebei Province] On July 18, 2008, Mr. Lu Zuodi Arrested

30. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Cuiyun and Mr. Hu Lifeng Arrested

Ms. Zhang Cuiyun was reported while she was clarifying the truth in Fuxing Village. On July 7, 2008, she was arrested at her home by the Changqing Police Station. Now she is being detained in the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center in Jianghan District.

On the afternoon of July 18, 2008, the Jianghan District 610 Office ordered the Beihu Police Station to arrest Mr. Hu Lifeng at his home and send him to the Erdaopeng Brainwashing Center. His home was searched. The police took away Zhuan Falun and Teacher's pictures.

31. [Pengshan County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Zhang Yao Sent to a Forced Labor Camp

On February 21, 2008, Mr. Zhao Yao was arrested by the police of Pengshan County. In the first ten days of May 2008, he was transferred to the Xinhua Forced Labor Camp in Mianyang City for a one-year-and-two-months' term.

32. [Cixi City, Zhejiang Province] Mr. Ma Jiahou Arrested

Mr. Ma Jiahou is a school doctor at the Zhouxiang High School in Cixi City. On July 7, 2008, police from the Yuyao City Police Department went to search his home and arrested him. The police took away a copying machine and other truth-clarifying materials.

33. [Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province] Information about Persecuted Falun Dafa Practitioners

Since the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners started on July 20, 1999, in Mishan City, Heilongjiang Province, about 100 people have been detained in forced labor camps and seven practitioners have died as a result of the persecution. Now, 13 practitioners are still detained in prison and 21 practitioners have been released.

The seven practitioners who died as a result of the persecution: Ms. Zhang Yulan, Ms. Liu Guiying, Mr. Yu Tianyong, Mr. Zhang Jian, Ms. Yang Hailing, Mr. Wei Xiaodong and Ms. Zhang Hong.

The following thirteen practitioners are still in prison: Ms. Shao Ying, Ms. Wang Yan, Ms. Quan Hongli, Ms. Yang Xiaolin, Ms. Xu Peiyan, Mr. Yang Xiaoguang, Mr. Xing Delu, Mr. Jiang Honglu, Mr. Sun Yishan, Mr. Zhao Bo, Mr. He Jiang, Mr. Song Wentao and Mr. Zhang Zuobin who is from Jilin City, Jilin Province but sentenced in Mishan City.

The following practitioners have been sent to forced labor camps, including Mr. Zhang Chuanfu, Mr. Xue Yanrong, Ms. Xin Lilian, Ms. Lei Chuanqing, Ms. Sui Yuhua, Mr. Jiang Yuhui and Ms. Yu Fengying.

The following practitioners have been arrested: Mr. Yao Tiebin, Ms. Zhang Fengrong, Mr. Wang Zhi, Ms. Sun Lixiang, Mr. Zhang Chengyu, Mr. Liu Rihao, Ms. Ba Fenglian, Mr. Yang Dianjun, Ms. Liu Guihua, Mr. Liu Qiliang, Mr. Lu Jiwen, Ms. Yao Shuzhen, Ms. Niu Xifen, Ms. Fu Guihua, Ms. Xu Cuihong, Ms. Zhou Ying and Mr. Liu Jinglu.

34. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Tian Baoli, Ms. Fan Baorong and Ms. Zhang Guohua Arrested

At noon on July 20, 1008, Ms. Tian Baoli, Ms. Fan Baorong and Ms. Zhang Guohua from Dayushubao Town, Yi County, were reported while they were distributing truth-clarifying materials. They were arrested by the Dayushubao Town Police Station. Now they are being detained in the town detention center.

On the afternoon of July 16, 2008, Mr. Li Shengyi, Mr. Hu Yufeng, Mr. Zhao Bao and his wife from Xiataifu were arrested. Now they are being detained in a brainwashing center near the Dongxiaozhuang School. Other practitioners, including Ms. Li Yuling, Ms. Wu Xiumei, Ms. Wang Yuling, Ms. Guo Cuirong and her two daughters, are also detained in the brainwashing center.

36. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Four Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested

Police from the Xihe Township Police Station and the Shulan City National Security Team arrested practitioners Ms. Gong Xiuyun, Ms. Wang Qin, Mr. Yu Zhonglin and Mr. Wang Yujie. Their homes were also searched.

37. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Recent Information about the Persecution of Ms. Zhao Surong

On April 9, 2008, Ms. Zhao Surong from Shenyang City was arrested by police from the Shouquan Police Station of Huanggu District. She was released home the next day. Later on, the Shouquan Police Station searched her home twice and confiscated several Dafa books. On July 21, 2008, the police summoned Ms. Zhao to the Procuratorate and detained her.

38. [Jiujiang County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Cao Fayuan Arrested

On July 17, 2008, Mr. Cao Fayuan from Saicheng Lake in Jiujiang County was reported because he installed satellite dishes for others. Police from the Yongan Police Station arrested him and sent him to the Jiujiang County Detention Center. Later, Mr. Cao managed to walk away with righteous thoughts.

39. [Yongjia County, Zhejiang Province] Ms. Yu Shengbi, Mr. Tao Sheng and Mr. He Gang Illegally Sentenced

On July 8, 2008, the Yongjia County Court of Zhejiang Province opened a trial against Ms. Yu Shengbi, Mr. Tao Sheng and Mr. He Gang. They were sentenced to three years, four years and five years' imprisonment, respectively. Now they are being detained in the Yongjia County Detention Center.

On June 18, 2008, Ms. Li Yuqin was released home after being detained in the Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp of Changchun City for one year. On July 12, 2008, she was arrested again and sent to a brainwashing center while the Olympic Torch was in Jilin City.

44. [Xinji City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiangzhen and Her Daughter Arrested

On July 20, 2008, Ms. Zhang Xiangzhen and her daughter Ms. Li Qian from Pengliuzuo Village, Xinji City were arrested by police from the Tianjiazhuang Police Station. The police searched their home and confiscated a computer, a satellite receiver, Dafa books, truth-clarifying CDs.

On July 21, 2008, the police also took away Li Qian's bank book.

Around July 15, 2008, Ms. Wang Ying from Jize County was arrested from her home by Handan City police. Her home was also searched. Now her whereabouts are unknown.

46. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Fang Yinzhen Arrested Again

Ms. Fang Yinzhen, 60 years old, is a dependent of an employee of the Wanjiang District 540 Factory in Chengdu City. At night on July 16, 2008, the Wenjiang police arrested her from her home. Currently, her whereabouts is unknown.

At 7:00 p.m. on July 20, 2008, police from the Anguo City National Security Team broken into the Culture and Sporting Shop Mr. Cui Hu runs and took him to the police department.

49. [Nanchong City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Gao Deyuan Arrested by police from the 610 Office

On the morning of July 4, 2008, Mr. Zhang Jirong from Gaomiaobao Township, Wanquan County was arrested. The police searched his home and took away Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials and a satellite receiver.

On the afternoon of July 20, 2008, Ms. Zhang Yonglan and Ms. Yang Fenzhi from Ximalin Town, Wanquan County were arrested because they refused to sign certain documents.

54. [Hubei Province] Ms. Fan Juying Sentenced to Seven Years' Imprisonment, Now Detained in the Wuhan Prison

55. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Pingshan Police Harass Falun Dafa practitioners in Wangpo Township

On the morning of July 20, 2008, police from the Pingshan Police Department and the Wangpo Township Police Station went to search the home of Mr. Gao Baidan at Dongwangpo Village and took away Dafa materials. They also searched the homes of Mr. Liu Rongye and Mr. Kang Linyou at Taolin Village. The police took away Dafa books, truth-clarifying materials, satellite receivers, and other items. Mr. Kang Guoxian's home was also searched.

56. [Pingshan County, Hebei Province] Additional Information about the Arrest of Ms. Zhao Jinlian

On the morning of July 8, 2008, police from the Mengjiazhuang Police Station arrested Ms. Zhao Jinlian from Mengjiazhuang because she clarified the truth to others. On July 11, she was sent to the Shijiazhuang Detention Center.

57. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] On July 20, 2008, Mr. Wang Xiong Arrested and Sent to the Taojialing Brainwashing Center in Hanyang

58. [Dengzhou City, Henan Province] Ms. Liao Shuhua Sentenced to Four Years' Imprisonment

On September 6, 2007, Ms. Liao Shuhua from Dengzhou City was arrested from her home by police. Later on, the Dengzhou City Court sentenced her to four years' imprisonment. She has been sent to the Xinxiang Prison of Henan Province.

59. [Luquan City, Hubei Province] Mr. Jin Wenhua Arrested

On the morning of July 14, 2008, police from the National Security Section of the Luquan City Police Department and the Dahe Township Police Station went to Mr. Jin Wenhua' work place and arrested him. The police confiscated two computers, a printer, a USB drive, a MP3 player, and other items. Mr. Jin is being detained in the Luquan City Detention Center.
