(Clearwisdom.net) Mr. Sun Jian from Panshan County, Panjin City, Liaoning Province was harassed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and forced to become homeless in 2002. Because he practices Falun Gong, he was fired from his job in 2003 and sentenced to forced labor in 2004. Mr. Sun Jian was released from the Nanshan Prison in March 2008. After he returned home, policemen Xu Dehai and Li Tizhuang from the Yangquanzi Township Police Station in Panshan County tried to force Sun Jian to write a guarantee statement to give up Falun Gong. To intimidate him, they photographed him and took his fingerprints. They often made phone calls to harass him and instigated Wang Xuerong, who is the head of Jiulong Village, to monitor and threaten him.
Mr. Sun Jian was formerly an employee of the Panshan County Agricultural Bank and worked very hard. Because he practices Falun Gong, he was illegally arrested, sentenced to forced labor and imprisoned. In November 2004, Liu Huaiqun, who is the head of the Panshan County Agricultural Bank, reported Mr. Sun to Banjin City Bank and dismissed him. Sun Jian's wife Li Yumei is a teacher at the Panjin City No. 10 Middle School. Politics & Law Committee Secretary Liu Chengyuan and the Shixin Police Station head Zhao Hongwei harassed her and threatened to have her family members fired from their jobs. Finally, she was unable to withstand the pressure and divorced Sun Jian.
Mr. Sun Jian had been tortured at Jinzhou Prison for several years. In December 2005, No. 1 Division head Cui Yuanqi and Education Section Head Niu Baojin put him in a solitary confinement room (which is only less than three square meters, but seven or eight meters high. At the top of the room there is one vertical window. He had to eat, drink and use the toilet in that tiny space). As a means of torture, they kept him handcuffed to a bench. Cui Yuanqi and Niu Baojin ordered the inmates to make sure that the practitioners didn't sleep. As soon as the practitioners closed their eyes they would beat and kick them cruelly. The practitioners were handcuffed to the bench continuously, except when eating or using the toilet. The inmates were divided into three groups to take turns watching him. They used this method to torture him for twenty-five days straight and did not allow him to sleep during this time. As a result of this torture, he had festering sores on his buttocks and he had pain around his lower back and in his feet. In addition, his legs were numb and his hands were constantly cold. He was unable to stand up on his own and when it was time for him to eat or use the toilet, two inmates had to help him.
After Sun Jian was released from prison he returned to his home town. He went to the office in which his residence is registered to ask for his allocated farmland. The Village Party Branch Secretary, Cai Zhongren, replied that he was not sure when they would allocate the farmland again. Village Head Wang Xuerong often goes to Sun Jian's parents' home to monitor his whereabouts.
On July 10, 2008, Wang Xuerong went to Sun Jian's home to harass him again. Village Security Head Li Chunqi went to his home to harass him again on July 14 and threatened that if they could not find Sun Jian at his home this time, they would arrest him.
Sun Jian is a good person. Just because he practices Falun Gong, the CCP has broken up his family and robbed him of his possessions. He has even been deprived of his right to work so that he cannot support himself.
