(Clearwisdom.net) Today's report relates incidents of persecution that took place in 25 cities or counties in 11 provinces. Twelve Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to brutal mistreatment during detention, and at least 28 practitioners were arrested.

On the evening of Jun 4, 2008, police from the National Security Group of Qindu Police Station of Xianyang City Police Department arrested Ms. Xiao Chunhong, Ms. Jia Ye, and Mr. Xiao Gang. They are "illegally detained" in the Qindu Police Station detention center. Xiao Li is in Chang'an Brainwashing Center.
5. [Fushun City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhao Lin Arrested
Mr. Zhao Lin is 36 years old. During the afternoon of June 13, 2008, he was reported while he was distributing truth-clarifying materials at Qianwangliang Village, Tayu Township. He was arrested and seriously beaten by police from the Tayu Township Police Station. The police illegally took away his computer and printer from his home.
6. [Luoyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Wei Guanqun Arrested
On the afternoon of June 11, 2008, police from the National Security Group of Dengfeng City ransacked practitioner Mr. Wei Guanqun's home in Yichuan County. Mr. Wei, 53 years old, was arrested and detained in Dengfeng City Detention Center.
7. [Laizhou City, Shandong Province] Mr. Lin Dongsheng Arrested
On June 8, 2008, Mr. Lin Dongsheng, a teacher in Laizhou City, was arrested when he brought his students to attend a university entrance exam in Laizhou City Experimental Middle School. He is illegally jailed in the Laizhou City Detention Center.
8. [Wanquan County, Hebei Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Arrested
Around 9:30 p.m. on June 14, 2008, policemen from the National Security Group of Wanquan County arrested many practitioners in Guoleizhuang Township, including Ms. Bai Yintao, Ms. Wang Xiaoxian, Mrs. Zhang, and Ms. Liu. They are being held in Kongjiazhuang Detention Center.
9. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Meng Zhao'ai and Mr. Wang Guisheng Arrested
Around lunchtime on June 11, 2008, Ms. Meng Zhao'ai and Mr. Wang Guisheng were reported and arrested by police from the 610 Office of Changle County and from the police station at Qiaoguan Town. They are in Changle County Detention Center.

10. [Tanghai County, Hebei Province] Five People including Liu Xiaoling Arrested
On June 11, practitioners, including Ms. Liu Xiaoling, Ms. Qin Pengzhen, Ms. Yang Shuzhi, and Ms. Zhao Yufang, and a non-practitioner driver, Mr. Zheng Jianjun, were arrested while distributing truth-clarifying materials in Luannan County. Currently, they are in the 1st Detention Center of Tangshan City.
11. [Jianping County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xue Lihong and Other Practitioners Arrested
On May 24, 2008, Ms. Xue Lihong from Yushulinzi Town, Jianping County, was arrested by policemen from Shenyang City. She is now missing.
On June 14, practitioners Ms. Ni Fengzhen and Ms. Zhang Rongyan from Machang Township, Jianping County, were arrested by police from the Jianping Police Station while the two were distributing truth-clarifying materials. They are now in a county detention center.
12. [Linghai City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Li Fengqin Arrested
On June 13, 2008, Ms. Li Fengqin from Banjita Town, Linghai City, was arrested at a bus station because she was carrying truth-clarifying materials in her handbag. She is in the 2nd Detention Center of Jinzhou City.
13. [Shimen County, Hunan Province] Ms. Xiang Wenying Tortured Until She Became Mentally Disordered
Around the 2007 Mid-Autumn Festival, 70-year-old practitioner Ms. Xiang Weying from Shimen County was arrested by the local police. Her home was ransacked. Her computer and TV were taken away. She was illegally sentenced to three years in a detention center. After that, she was further detained in a local detention center.
In June 2008, Ms. Xian was tortured so badly that she became mentally disordered. Workers from the detention extorted more than 200 yuan from her and then released her.
14. [Bazhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Shi Min Arrested
Mr. Shi Min is 55 years old from Chaheji Town, Bazhou City. On June 12, 2008, he was arrested at home by the director of Langfang City 610 Office, Han Zhiguang, and police officers from the 610 Office of Bazhou City.
15. [Longjing City, Jilin Province] Ms. Ji Jinyu Arrested
Around 5 p.m. on June 12, 2008, practitioner Ms. Ji Jinyu from Longjing City was arrested and taken to Longjing City Detention Center. Her home was ransacked. Her printer, DVD player, and a notebook computer were taken away.
16. [Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Cheng Wenfen Harassed
Practitioner Ms. Cheng Wenfen is about 60 years old. She is from Qiaodong District, Shijiazhuang City. In April 2008, she was arrested at home by the police from the Penghou Street Police Station of Shijiazhuang City. She was released after being jailed in Huitong Road Police Station and having 3000 yuan extorted from her.
On June 11, 2008, officers from Penghou Street Police Station went to Ms. Cheng's home to harass her again.

17. [Beijing City] Mr. Dao Wanhui from Shijingshan District Released from Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp at the End of 2007, Arrested Again in May 2008
18. [Huanren County, Liaoning Province] Falun Gong Practitioners Secretly Transferred
Before June 8, 2008, police from Huanren County secretly transferred practitioners Mr. Zhang Yunsheng, Mr. Dong Renqing, and Ms. Qi Zhenhong, who were all in the Huanren County Detention Center. Currently, their whereabouts are unknown.
19. [Wafangdian City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Xu Zhongqiang and Mr. Li Ge Illegally Sentenced in Forced Labor Camp
On June 12, 2008, Mr. Li Ge and Mr. Xu Zhongqiang were sentenced to two years of forced labor. They are now in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
20. [Linjiang City, Jilin Province] Supplemental Information about Arrested Mr. Yun Zhonggang
Practitioner Mr. Yun Zhonggang, 58 years old, is from Linjiang City. In 2002, he was jailed at a detention center in Linjiang City. After that, he was transferred to Chaoyanggou Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City by Linjiang City police officers. He was persecuted in the labor camp for one and a half years. During this time, his wife was in Heizuizi Women's Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City for one year.
On the morning of May 22, 2008, Mr. Yun was followed and arrested. After he was taken to Xinshi Police Station, the police ransacked his home. On June 5, 2008, he was transferred to Fenjin Forced Labor Camp in Changchun City.
21. [Dalian City, Liaoning Province] On the Morning of June 14, 2008, Mr. Song Weidong Was Arrested at Home in Pulandian City
22. [Fuxin City, Liaoning Province] Situations for Mr. Qi Yufu and Ms. Zhang Guozhen
Practitioner Mr. Qi Yufu was sentenced to one year of forced labor. He is now in Fuxin Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Zhang Guozhen was sentenced to one year of forced labor. She is in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp.
23. [Dianbai County, Guangdong Province] Mr. Liang Huanan Arrested
At the beginning of June 2008, Mr. Liang Huanan from Mata Town of Dianbai County was reported and arrested while clarifying the truth in Dabanguan District. He is in Zhaitou Detention Center.
24. [Macheng City, Hubei Province] Many Falun Gong Practitioners Sentenced in Jail
In May 2008, many practitioners from Macheng City, who had been incarcerated in a local detention center for more than one year, were sentenced. Mr. Liu Xin was sentenced to six years; Mr. Bai Zijian to four years; Mr. Luo Xianbao to four years; Mr. Luo Liteng, 10 years; Ms. Xie Qiongying, seven years; and Mr. Yu Xuelun, three years. More than 10 other practitioners were given suspended sentences.
25. [Guanghan City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Ke Xiuyu Arrested
In June 8, 2008, Ms. Ke Xiuyu from Guanghan City was reported for posting truth-clarification messages. She was arrested by officers from Xianggang Road Police Station in Guanghan City. Later she was transferred to Guanghan City Detention Center.
26. [Yining City, Xinjiang Province] Ms. Yin Fengxue Arrested
On June 12, 2008, Ms. Yin Fengxue from the Science and Technology Bureau of Yili Hasake Autonomous Prefecture was arrested by police from Yining City. Her home was ransacked.
